According to California Highway Patrol, the fire started off of Interstate 805 North near E Street around 8:42 p.m. CHP says the fire may have started in a homeless encampment. "To provide you with better shopping experience, Costco will suspend business in the afternoon. At the end of the check-out period, the title will return to the library's collection, eliminating late fees and the possibility of physical damage to the title.According to the county library, digital checkouts in 2018 have increased by roughly 50 percent to more than 1.5 million compared to 2017. The county library system is one of 30 in the world to surpass 1.5 million digital checkouts."The Library encourages reading in every way -- to develop skills, create opportunities and motivate a love of reading,'' said Migell Acosta, the county's library director.
