A federal judge in California put a temporary stop Thursday to efforts by Stormy Daniels' attorney to depose President Donald Trump and his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen over a 0,000 payout from Cohen to the porn star before the 2016 election.Judge S. He also vacated a hearing date previously set for April 30.In the motion he filed earlier this week, Avenatti requested to depose both Trump and Cohen, who was added this week as a defendant in the lawsuit, for "no greater than two hours."The request also asked for "targeted requests for the production of documents directed to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen on various topics relating to the hush agreement."Avenatti laid out questions he'd like answered, including whether Trump knew about the hush agreement and the scope of his involvement, where the payment came from, what Cohen's role was, and whether Trump consented to the agreement and was involved in efforts to silence Daniels "to benefit his presidential campaign by preventing voters from hearing Plaintiff speak publicly."The motion is the latest in the legal battle between Daniels, an adult film actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and Cohen, Trump, and the limited liability company Cohen created to pay her to keep quiet about the alleged affair with Trump more than a decade ago.Daniels said she was pressed to sign the document, and her legal team now says the agreement is invalid because it was never signed by Trump.On Monday, Daniels' legal team amended her lawsuit to include a defamation claim against Cohen. A Japanese marketing company is giving its employees a very attractive reason to stay away from cigarettes.Piala Inc., based in Tokyo, made the decision last month to give non-smoking employees an extra six paid days off every year. Their reasoning? A cougar, burned in a dangerous Southern California wildfire, is recovering from her injuries. She was found by a homeowner after walking on burned paws onto his property.The Cougar Conservancy and California wildlife officials treated the cougar at a state facility in Sacramento.The cougar is eating well and her paws are healing. The conservancy group believes she will be able to return to the wild.She was burned by the Bobcat fire, which started on September 6 and has destroyed 87 residences. It has burned more than 115,000 acres and is about 90 percent contained, and still threatening 6,000 structures. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 666

A digital broadcast network jointly owned by the AMC, Cinemark and Regal chains is adding 200 movie theaters to its distribution of live events.The addition will happen throughout the next year to year-and-a-half in North American, Fathom Events announced this week. Fathom's expansion reaches to more than 1,100 total cinemas and 1,700 screens across the country, a report from Variety states. The expansion is part of an extended agreement with Dish Network that provides the delivery of pre-recorded and live cinema events.Theater chains with screens that will or already do carry live events include AMC, Cinemark, Regal, Harkins, Megaplex, Bow Tie and more.On Thursday, theaters showing Fathom events live will carry an advance screening of the first two episodes from the new YouTube Red Original Series, “Cobra Kai.” The series based on the Karate Kid franchise.Nearly 700 cinemas nationwide will host Thursday's screenings, Variety reported. 987
