A woman who was seen slapping a police officer as she was carried out of a University of Miami football game has been charged with felony battery on a police officer and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, the Associated Press reported. According to Local 10, Miami-Dade Metro Police received the video shortly after Saturday's incident, and was in the process of investigating. In the video, Bridget Freitas, who was dressed in a Miami Hurricanes shirt, was being carried away by several police officers. She than slapped one of the officers in the face. The officer then responded by delivering a huge punch to the woman's face, to the surprise of the crowd. Video of the incident quickly spread Saturday night on social media.   770

A Wisconsin judge has ruled against a Trump campaign lawsuit that sought to overturn the results of the presidential election in the state.“Because the court is satisfied the rules and guidelines applied in each of the disputed areas are reasonable, and a correct interpretation of the underlying early absentee voting laws, the certification of the results of the 2020 Wisconsin presidential election, after the Dane County and Milwaukee County recounts, is affirmed," Judge Stephen Simane said in a ruling released Friday.Hearings were scheduled Thursday for the campaign's federal and state lawsuits that were an effort to invalidate thousands of ballots in both Dane County and Milwaukee County.The attempt to overturn ballots in Milwaukee County was dismissed Thursday afternoon.Prior to the decision, attorneys for Wisconsin Gov. A woman in southern Alberta is thankful she didn't swallow what was in a cup she was served at McDonald's as the woman was served a cleaning solution instead of a latte, the CBC reported. Sarah Douglas, who is due with her third child in two months, said all it took was a small sip to realize what she had was not a latte. "I immediately had to put my hazard lights on and pull over and spit it out and rinse my mouth out with ... water," Douglas told the CBC. "I opened up the lid of the coffee and out pours this pungent smell of chemical. It wasn't a latte at all."Douglas returned to the McDonald's location and the manager discovered that a cleaning solution was hooked up to the restaurant's coffee machine. "The supervisor went and got the bottle that was hooked up to it and brought it over to the counter, and I took a picture of it, so I knew what I was working with — what I had consumed so I could talk to 811 and poison control," Douglas told the CBC.  999
