But some phone testers claim the new iPhone XS and larger XS Max are easier to break if they are dropped.  A new test from the electronics insurance company SquareTrade is raising questions about that glass and the durability of the new phones.In SquareTrade's drop from 6 feet, (which the insurance company claims simulate the height it would fall from if it slipped while you were talking) the XS screen shattered, resulting in loose and separated glass.A tumble test resulted in hairline cracks and scratches.SquareTrade calls the iPhone XS "high risk" for breakage, much higher than the older iPhone 7's and 8's, which did not have edge-to-edge glass.Others question SquareTrade resultsHowever, other reviewers say these tests may not be that realistic for most people.Apple says the new XS has "the most durable glass ever built into a smartphone."Other testers say unless you are in the NBA, most people don't drop their phones from a 6 foot height. Ammon Bundy was among four people arrested by Idaho State Police on Tuesday at the Idaho state capitol. Bundy was taken into custody by Idaho State Police after he refused to stand from his chair in the Lincoln Auditorium at the Idaho Capitol.Bundy was handcuffed and wheeled out in the chair of the capitol by ISP troopers, according to a news release from Idaho State Police. He was arrested for trespassing and charged with resisting and obstructing officers, police said.Also arrested were 42-year-old Aaron Von Schmidt from Coeur d'Alene and Jill Watts, 38 from Nampa. Both Von Schmidt and Watts were charged with trespassing. The identity of the fourth person arrested is currently unknown.Troopers were clearing the hearing room on the order from Speaker of the House of Representatives Scott Bedke, police said. AN DIEGO (CNS) - A 25-year-old man staying at a hotel in the Core-Columbia area was robbed at gunpoint by two men, who forced their way into his room this morning.The man was staying at the Comfort Inn Hotel at 664 G St. when two men wearing black shirts forced their way into his room at 2:20 a.m, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.The victim was tied up and the suspects ransacked his room, then left, Heims said.A description of the suspects was not available. America's aging infrastructure is expected to be a hot topic for voters in the upcoming midterm elections.Lawmakers on both sides want to fix it, but there’s one major sticking point: how do you pay for it?President Donald Trump has proposed a trillion plan to improve aging roads, bridges and tunnels across the country.Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao told Fortune magazine there's one sticking point between the two parties.“How do you pay for it, is the toughest question,” says Chao. “There are many ways of paying for the infrastructure proposal, and I would say the majority of them are not ones I could get consensus from in this audience.”One way that Republicans propose to raise money will impact most Americans directly.“A gas tax increase and a diesel tax increase of about 15 cents a gallon for gas and 20 cents for diesel to help fund this, because we do need to fund infrastructure upgrades,” says Republican strategist Ryan Williams. “We can't make the money appear out of thin air.”Republicans also want to raise money by letting private sector businesses help finance projects.Democrats have come up with their own trillion-dollar plan.“Where's the money [going] to come from? We don't want to increase our deficit. The tax bill's done that enough,” says Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). “We say take some of those tax breaks from the wealthiest Americans and put them in middle class jobs.”Democrats want to increase the tax rate on the rich, raise the corporate income tax and reverse cuts to the estate tax.But the Democrats admit, as of now, their plan has little chance of going anywhere.“These are all ideological steps the Democrats are taking, because they don't control the House or the Senate,” says Democratic strategist Tiffany Cross.Both sides do agree they don't expect any action to be taken on infrastructure until after the midterm elections. 1887
