Viral video that's making the rounds on social media appears to show a woman on an electric scooter dragging a dog in Bakersfield. Scripps affiliate KERO-TV was made aware of pictures showing a person holding a bloody dog over the weekend. A viewer shared on Monday surveillance video that shows the moments the person is traveling in the area of Downtown Bakersfield with the dog dragged behind. When a 12-year-old Michigan girl was asked by a man to get in his car, she responded by asking him what the password was, to which he couldn't provide and answer. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office says the stranger danger incident happened Wednesday morning.The girl was walking to her school bus stop when she was approached by a newer model, black Chevy, four-door sedan. The windows of the vehicle were heavily tinted. Authorities say a male suspect in the vehicle asked the girl to "get in the car." She responded by asking what the password is. The suspect said he didn't know, so the 12-year-old ran away from the vehicle. The girl and her mother have set a password if the mother were to ever have someone pick the girl up at any location. After the girl ran away, the suspect eventually drove from the area. The girl then continued to the bus and told a school resource officer about the incident when she arrived at school.The girl was uninjured, and another student witnessed the incident and corroborated what the girl told police. The driver of the Chevy is described as a white male in his early 20s with dark hair. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Florida family is grateful to be alive after they say their refrigerator exploded inside their home Saturday morning. The force was so powerful it caused significant damage in several rooms. Luckily, neighbor Joshua Perez heard the explosion and ran inside to help the family get out safely. “I was in my room, I was asleep and I just heard the bang,” Mark Ligondie said. Ligondie quickly ran from his bedroom to the kitchen where moments before his parents' refrigerator in the West Palm Beach, Florida home exploded. “There were fumes coming everywhere,” Ligondie said. He says the odor was so strong and that it made his eyes sting. “The fridge exploded and if you look at this angle right here it expanded and expanded so much it bent the metal of the stove,” Ligondie said. The family's 4-month-old Whirlpool refrigerator was in pieces, scattered throughout the kitchen and surrounding rooms. Their next door neighbor, Perez, rushed over to help after hearing the loud bang and smoke alarm. "Immediately I just see the smoke,” Perez said. Luckily, no one was hurt.
