Former US President Jimmy Carter was hospitalized on Monday following a fall at his home in Georgia, according to a statement by the Carter Center. Carter, 94, had surgery to repair a broken hip as a result from the fall. He is said to be recovering, the statement read. Carter was leaving to go turkey hunting on Monday when the fall happened.
