But it also imposes .8 billion in salary cuts to state workers. (AP) — A pilot ejected moments before an F-16 fighter jet crashed Thursday into a warehouse just outside March Air Reserve Base in California, military officials said.The pilot was not hurt, and there were no immediate reports of injuries on the ground, said Maj. ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) — Police say a gunman opened fire inside an Illinois bowling alley, killing three people and injuring three others during what authorities believe was a random attack. Rockford Police Chief Dan O'Shea says a 37-year-old white male suspect is in custody after the shooting Saturday night at Don Carter Lanes. Police were not seeking any other suspects. O'Shea did not immediately release additional information about the person of interest or the victims.
