LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky’s attorney general has received a long-awaited ballistics report in the police shooting of Breonna Taylor. Attorney General Daniel Cameron tweeted Sunday that there is additional analysis needed now that the report is in his hands. He says there will be no announcement on the investigation this week. Cameron has indicated the ballistics report has slowed the investigation of Taylor’s death by police on March 13. CNN reports that a deputy fired six rounds at Guardado. Investigators say they recovered an unregister semi-automatic pistol at the scene that included an illegal extended magazine loaded with live rounds.Guardado's family maintains that he was working as a security guard at the body shop at the time of the shooting, and added that they do not believe he owned a gun. But police officers claim that Guardado was not recognizable as a security guard because he did not have a uniform on and was not wearing a gun belt.California law also requires that security guards be at least 21 years old.Capt. Kent Wegener, the head of the department's Homicide Bureau, says investigators have taken six or seven exterior cameras from the scene of Thursday's shooting. (AP) — Anti-racism protesters took to the streets Sunday in a San Francisco Bay Area city where two people were charged with hate crimes after allegedly defacing a city-sanctioned “Black Lives Matter” mural. The two were charged July 7, the same day that police in Martinez were called to investigate after someone painted “White Lives Matter” on a city street. Activists organized Sunday’s march after police found flyers threatening Black Lives Matter supporters in the name of a white-power group. Police are investigating the “White Lives Matter” graffiti. LYNDON TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Michigan State Police say a USPS mail carrier was killed when she was hit by her own truck delivering mail on Wednesday afternoon.According to police, the mail carrier was on Blind Lake Rd. in Lyndon Township, northwest of Ann Arbor, around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.She was delivering a package at a resident with the USPS mail truck parked at the top of the driveway. For reasons not known at this time, the vehicle rolled down the driveway, struck the mail carrier and then pinned her between the truck and a guardrail.The woman, identified as a 56-year-old Tracy Sylo, of Pinckney, was pronounced dead at the scene. 649
