SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for the suspects in a deadly Mountain View park shooting that took place during a soccer game. Police were called to the Willie Henderson Sports Complex on the 1000 block of South 45th Street just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, police found a man who had been shot. First responders tried to save the man, but he died at the scene. Investigators say little is known about the circumstances leading up to the man’s death. According to police, the park was crowded at the time of the shooting with soccer players and spectators. “It is not believed the victim was involved with the soccer game that was underway,” police added. Although police haven’t identified the victim, family members who arrived on scene say the victim is 31-year-old Armando Torres Jr. Family members say he was the father of a 2-year-old girl. The suspects are only described as three Hispanic men in their teens to twenties wearing hooded sweatshirts. Anyone with information is asked to call San Diego Police at 619-531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. 1137

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- People throughout San Diego County are searching for answers after hearing a mysterious boom Wednesday afternoon. RELATED: Human error caused loud banging noise in Chula Vista Friday night10News also received calls from people in Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach. Several people wondered whether or not an earthquake could be to blame, but according to the United States Geological Survey, the nearest earthquake was a 2.9 magnitude near Corona reported at 4:16 a.m. Wednesday. USGS' website states that, "reports of a bang are a clue that it's a sonic boom, but not an ironclad indicator since shallow earthquakes often sound like booms or bangs."10News has reached out to military officials to see whether or not military exercises may have caused the boom. The Marine Corps, however, did send a statement that reads, in part: "While we are aware of media reports of a possible sonic boom, no 3rd MAW units have reported one in San Diego air space. We will notify you if we receive any further information." 1258

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Months after pricey photography equipment disappeared during a car burglary in Pacific Beach, the victim made a stunning discovery at an estate sale right in his own neighborhood.Near Pacific Beach Drive and Ingraham Street in February, Danny Desanti came out and found all the doors of his hatchback open. Desanti, a professional photographer, had loaded up the night before for an early morning shoot in Santa Barbara."Didn't want to wake up my baby, so I loaded items the night before ... huge loss for me," said Desanti. The loss was dozens of items and more than ,000 worth of missing equipment, painful for a small business owner."Since then, I've been slowly buying the stuff back and renting the gear," said Desanti.Nine months later, Desanti saw a sign for an estate sale less than a block from his home. The sale was taking place at a house of an elderly man he had never met.He stopped by and after some browsing inside, something caught his eye. He looked around and saw a lighting clamp which looked very familiar. That's when he peered in for a closer look."My heart skipped a beat. Couldn't believe it. Absolutely shocked," said Desanti.Written on the clamp was his last name. The clamp was stolen during the car break-in. He says he continued to browse and found a handful of other items that were taken, including cables and reflectors."Got goosebumps. The hair on back of neck stood up," said Desanti. After he ran back home to get his police report, the company handling the estate sale let him have stuff back. Most of his stolen equipment has yet to be recovered. "Anybody would bought any lighting equipment at the estate sale, I would really appreciate it if you would get in touch with me," said Desanti. The questions linger. How did his equipment end up at the estate sale?"You never think your neighbors would have your stolen goods," said Desanti. If you think you may have bought some of the items, including battery packs, a tripod, and a light modifier, email Tips@10news.com. 10News did reach out to the son of the man who passed away and are waiting to hear back. 2121
