Eric Greitens has been indicted by a grand jury in St. Louis on a felony invasion of privacy charge. The St. Louis City Attorney's Office confirmed Greitens was taken into custody by police in St. Louis. NBC station KSDK?reports in St. Louis reports that a judge granted his release. Court documents accuse Greitens of knowingly photographing an unidentified person in a state of partial or full nudity without consent and when the victim would have had a reasonable expectation of privacy. Jordana Judson lives in New York. But when she heard about the Florida school shooting last week, it hit close to home.Judson, 23, graduated from Florida State University, which had a school shooting a few years ago. She also is a 2012 graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, where 17 students and faculty were killed last Wednesday.Her family friend Meadow Pollack was among them. After she heard the news, all Judson wanted to do was go home to South Florida and be with her family."Everyone (in the community) knows somebody involved somehow," she said. Pollack, 18, was the sister of Judson's brother's best friend, and Pollack's dad has been a father figure to Judson's family. "Meadow's dad helped raise my brother."Judson didn't find out until last Thursday, the day after the shooting, that Pollack was killed. LA JOLLA (CNS) - The city of San Diego will close Children's Pool beach Saturday in preparation of harbor seal pupping season, city officials announced Friday.The city began closing the beach in 2014, spurred by environmental activists concerned that beachgoers were disturbing the young pinnipeds. The city has been tied up in litigation for most of the time since then, dealing with suits from a group called Friends of the Children's Pool and other beach access advocates who claimed the closures violated the state Coastal Act and the federal Marine Mammal Protection Act.In June of this year, a state appeals court ruled in favor of the city, allowing the closures to continue.At the time, beach access advocates threatened to take the complaint to the state Supreme Court, but the matter hasn't moved that far yet.The city opened the beach in 1932 as a refuge for inexperienced swimmers due to a seawall that keeps out oncoming ocean waves. Harbor seals began convening on the beach in the 1990s and have since used the relatively calm beach area to birth and raise seal pups. California Coastal Commission officials have also suggested that the water is unsafe due to the seals and their excrement, offering another reason for residents to stay away from the beach for the next several months.The beach will be closed through May 15, 2019 to accommodate the seals and their pups. City park rangers and lifeguards will monitor the beach throughout the rest of winter and the duration of spring to keep both members of the public and local wildlife safe. 1567

Jimmy John's is known for its "freaky fast" delivery, but one branch showed it can deliver a lot more in helping an ailing veteran.A woman thought she was calling a social worker to help her brother after his spinal surgery. Little did she know she had misdialed and called the sandwich shop in Columbus, Nebraska."The whole time I pretty much knew that she didn't know she was talking to someone from Jimmy John's. It didn't seem important to really bring it up, but I just wanted to make sure that she knew I was going to help her," said Jason Voss, the night-shift manager at the Columbus Jimmy John's.Army veteran Greg Holeman, 48, was recovering from spinal surgery when he returned to his home last week. His sister, Lisa Nagengast, flew in to help get him settled at home.Just moments after she landed back home in Florida, Nagengast received a voice mail from her brother saying he was having severe pain in his left leg and couldn't stand up.Unsure if the US Department of Veterans Affairs would pay for Holeman's ambulance, Nagengast attempted to reach Holeman's social worker. As she frantically rushed through the airport to claim her luggage, Nagengast began explaining her brother's situation over the phone.Voss didn't want to leave the store, so he got Zach Hillmer, one of the drivers, to go pick up Holeman and take him to the emergency room.Once Hillmer called Nagengast back to find out more information about her brother, it became clear to her she was not talking to a social worker."I was kinda gracefully [trying to] back out of everything that had happened at that point," Nagengast told CNN. "He was like, 'No no no, I will take him to the hospital. You give me his name and his address and make sure that he gets in the car with me, and I will get him where he needs to go.'"After the phone mix-up, Nagengast thanked the employees for stepping up. "I cannot say thank you enough to Jason Voss and Zack (sic) Hillmer ... there are not enough words to express my gratitude." KGTV - A video appearing to show the arrest of an undocumented immigrant is making rounds on the internet.The incident was livestreamed on Facebook by Ryan McAdams, who says he was out with Watkins Bail Bonds on Sunday when they were called to collect a client they had bonded out for a crime.“A relative of the individual in the video called the bond office that the individual didn’t have his papers in order and he was looking to abscond,” said McAdams “and go back south over the border.”McAdams adds that what he recorded and posted to Facebook is a legit operation.However, some like Chicano activist Alexis Del Castillo says the video is tasteless and shows the exploitation of an immigrant.“He didn’t just bully him he like tormented him in front of everyone,” said Del Castillo, “I think it takes someone really despicable to do that sort of thing.”McAdams says he knows some people see it a certain way, but he just wants people to understand the reality others have to deal with.“He was in there for a DUI arrest and he was going to flee on that leaving a company ,000 dollars behind,” said McAdams, “Everyone is held up to the same laws.”  1191
