The measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine does not increase the risk of autism and does not trigger autism in children who are at risk, according to a new study of over 650,000 children.Researchers used a population registry to evaluate whether the MMR vaccine increased the risk of autism in children born in Denmark between 1999 and 2010. A total of 657,461 children were followed through August 2013, with the researchers documenting diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder as well as known risk factors including age of the parents, diagnosis of autism in a sibling, preterm birth and low weight at birth.Over 95% of the children received the MMR vaccine, and 6,517 were diagnosed with autism. The Democratic Party and CNN announced that the next Democratic Party debate, which will likely feature Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, will be without an audience. CNN also announced that the media filing room and spin room, an area for journalists to gather interviews for reports, will also be closed. "CNN's top priority is the safety of our employees and community members," the network said in a statement. "This extends to guests planning to attend or cover our debate on March 15. The mystery surrounding a little boy found sleeping on a Buffalo porch continues to grow. Buffalo Police updated the media late Tuesday morning, describing this as a, "very, very complicated case." Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo says they are working closely with the boy's grandparents who recently arrived from Florida. The boy's grandmother tells 7 Eyewitness News reporter Ali Touhey the boy's name is Noelvin and that they intend to take custody of him. Meantime, we're told, the toddler's parents, 24-year-old Nicole Mersed and 31-year-old Miguel Valentin, haven't made contact with their family since Sunday. According to police, they will be issuing pictures of Noelvin's parents and a family friend, anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact the department's homicide unit at 716-851-4466. The boy's grandmother tried to take custody of him, but that request was temporarily denied. She's expected to be back in Buffalo in October for a custody hearing. 1005

The Ohio State University had its application to trademark "The" tentatively denied by the U.S. Trademark Office on Wednesday. "The applied-for mark appears to be used in a merely decorative manner that would be perceived by consumers as having little or no particular source-identifying significance," the Trademark Office concluded. The Trademark Office will allow Ohio State to alter its application to have the trademark request reconsidered. The application submitted in August was to allow OSU to trademark the use of "The" on clothing using standard characters, without claim to any particular font style, size, or color. 640
