As Christmas approaches, Target is extending its store hours for holiday shoppers.On its website in its FAQ section, Target said most of its stores would open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. leading up to the holiday.But on Christmas Eve, stores will close at 8 p.m. Target is closed on Christmas Day.The retail store says hours can vary, so check the store locator before you head out.The company also announced that special hours for seniors and at-risk shoppers have also changed.According to Target, stores will open an hour early, but only on Tuesdays. An Arizona mother has been arrested after police found audio recordings of her threatening to kill her abused infant. Mesa police report that on Wednesday morning, 18-year-old Leticia Stella Palos, was arrested in Casa Grande for child abuse.Investigators say on July 7, a 3-month-old boy was taken to Cardon’s Children Hospital for an injured right arm. Doctors discovered that his upper arm was broken. Doctors also allegedly found multiple bruises and fractures to three ribs in various states of healing. Police say the doctors determined that these injuries were "highly suspicious for non-accidental trauma."Detectives checked Palos' cell phone and reportedly found multiple recordings sent from her to the boy's father, where they heard the boy breathing "heavy and fast."In other recordings, they reportedly heard the child screaming. Palos was also heard in the recordings threatening to "throw the victim in the trash," and "that she is going to kill the victim."She also allegedly referenced drug use in the recordings.She is being held on a ,000 bond for child abuse.If you suspect a child is being abused, the Arizona Department of Child Services has resources available to report the issue to a social worker. An online Good Samaritan challenge that's gone viral prompted two Michigan brothers to offer free lawn mowing to people who can't easily do it themselves.Now, the nationwide challenge's organizer is headed to metro Detroit to recognize their efforts.16-year-old Sam and 13-year-old Hunter have mowed 51 lawns in Westland for free since April. It's a task most people hate, especially in the summer heat; but Sam loves it. So when his parents told him about the "50 Yard Challenge," it was a no-brainer.“We get the feeling that we’re helping people who really can’t help themselves," he said.Rodney Smith, Jr. created the challenge. It looked like he was struggling, so I pulled over and helped him out. The boys have actually made what we think are going to be long-lasting relationships with some of these that don’t have contact with the outside world," their mom Keri told WXYZ.Fifty other kids from around the country have also completed the challenge, and about 1,000 are in the process of doing it now.“It’s just great. Especially when things kind of hit, a lot of the activities they weren’t able to do anymore. We couldn’t play baseball, we couldn’t go out to school, we couldn’t have activities to actually do," said their dad, Kyle.They may be helping others, but the boys said they're getting something really important out of the work too.“It’s heartwarming. ANAHEIM, Calif. (KGTV) -- Disneyland announced Monday that Oga’s Cantina will start taking reservations up to two months in advance. The resort Tweeted that, starting October 21, the cantina, along with Savi’s Workshop and the Droid Depot will begin offering the reservations up to 60 days ahead of time. The announcement was followed by a tweet announcing new food coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. “We’ve got an intergalactic shipment of several new menu items flying into the Black Spire Outpost this week, and you won’t want to miss them,” the resort said in a blog post. The cantina is the only spot in Disneyland that serves alcohol. Those who step inside the restaurant are entertained by droid DJ R-3X, a former Starspeeder 3000 pilot, according to the resort.
