In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong. Instead, the FBI & Justice should be investigating the terrorists, anarchists, and agitators of ANTIFA, who run around burning down our Democrat run cities and hurting our people! https://t.co/of6Lna3HMU— Donald J. INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman filed a million civil suit against Purdue University basketball standout Isaac Haas on Tuesday claiming she contracted chlamydia and herpes from him after he lied about having been given a clean bill of health. The suit, filed in Tippecanoe County Circuit Court on behalf of the woman by the law firm of Hume Smith Geddes Green & Simmons, LLP, claims Haas “explicitly assured [Plaintiff] he had been tested for sexually transmitted diseases… and was currently without a sexually transmitted disease or condition.”The suit also claims that the woman received text messages from another former romantic partner of Haas, who claimed that Haas was aware of his diagnosis and that he had “infected a number of other individuals” prior to the woman who filed the suit.In addition to Haas, the suit names Purdue University and the alleged former romantic partner of Haas as defendants. The woman’s attorneys claim in the suit that, after the former romantic partner contacted the plaintiff, she texted her that she had learned of the lawsuit “via one of [Haas’] coaches” and tried to recant her story. The suit alleges that is evidence of a coordinated effort between Haas, the second woman and Purdue coaches to “cover up Haas’ knowledge and wrongful conduct.”Filed alongside the lawsuit were dozens of pages of alleged texts between Haas, the plaintiff and the other woman named in the suit.Asked for comment Wednesday, Purdue said it was aware of the lawsuit, but that the school had no comment. The lawsuit asks for the case to be heard in a jury trial, and for damages to be paid to the plaintiff in the amount of million.A call to the law firm representing the plaintiff was not immediately returned. 1739

It is rare that inside President Donald Trump's White House that something bipartisan can get accomplished. But that is exactly what has happened when it comes to trade. WHAT CHANGES TODAYFor nearly thirty years, NAFTA, which stands for the North American Free Trade agreement, governed trading between the United States, Mexico and Canada. It basically sets the rules by which companies needed to follow in order to avoid paying a tariff or fee to ship their product within one of those North American countries. In recent years however, Democrats and Republicans have both criticized the agreement as a reason companies moved their jobs overseas, particularly to Mexico or Asian countries. Beginning today, NAFTA is no more with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in effect. WHAT'S DIFFERENTThe trade agreement has been read over and scrutinized by lawyers of Fortune 500 companies for months, but some of the biggest impacts affect the auto industry, the steel industry and dairy farmers. Under the agreement, in order to avoid a tariff, 75% of a car must be built in North America. 70% of the steel and aluminum in a car must also come from North America. It also demands 40-45% of the car be built by workers earning at least /hour. That last provision is key because those new wages are nearly triple what Mexico is paying it's workers right now in some instances. Dairy farmers in the United States will also have expanded access into Canada, which is something the US agricultural community has called for years. WILL IT CREATE JOBSThe White House claims this new deal will result in hundreds of thousands of jobs in the coming years. Regarding whether any new jobs are being created right now, Treasury Department spokeswoman Monica Crowley said it is too soon to tell. "Well it just goes into effect today, but we will see that going forward but the good news that we got today but the good news is that manufacturing has hit a 14 month high in the month of June," Crowley said. 2015

In his memos documenting conversations with President Donald Trump, former FBI Director James Comey recounts Trump's "serious reservations" about then-national security adviser Michael Flynn as well as the President's concerns about media leaks and Trump's recollection of Russian President Vladimir Putin telling him that Russia had the "most beautiful hookers in the world."The Comey memos provided to Congress on Thursday and obtained by CNN include documentation of seven conversations he had with Trump from January 7, 2017, through April 11, 2017. Four of the notes are classified and have been partially redacted, and three of them are unclassified. There are several recurring themes through the conversations: Trump frequently brings up leaks to the media and they discuss trying to find the source of the leaks. Trump also at least twice brought up the "golden showers thing" and said he was concerned even if there was a small chance his wife had thought it was true.In the January 7 memo, Comey writes that Trump interjected, "there were no prostitutes; there were never prostitutes" about his 2013 trip to Moscow. In his January 28 conversation with Trump, Comey also writes that Trump said "the hookers thing is nonsense," but then later said that "Putin had told him, 'we have some of the most beautiful hookers in the world.'"Comey also writes that the President said on January 28 he had "serious reservations" about Flynn, who soon left the administration and later pleaded guilty for lying to the FBI about his conversations with Russian officials.Trump explained that his reservations about Flynn's judgment by discussing a story about a toast to British Prime Minister Theresa May and someone else who Flynn had said called before her after Trump was inaugurated, but Flynn had not told the President. The unclassified memos include the now-famous conversation Trump had with Comey where he told Comey, "I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go.""I replied by saying, 'I agree he is a good guy,' but said no more," Comey writes.Trump is also focused on loyalty, as Comey has said in congressional testimony and his book. In their final April 11 conversation, Comey writes that Trump told him: "I have been very loyal to you, very loyal, we had that thing, you know."Comey said that he assumed Trump was referring to his previous pledge for loyalty before his inauguration, where Comey responded he would provide "honesty," and Trump responded, "honest loyalty."In the February 8 memo, Comey also recounts a conversation with then-White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, where he says that Priebus asked him whether it was a "private conversation," and asked Comey, "Do you have a FISA order on Mike Flynn?"Comey said that he answered Priebus' question, but first told him that it was "the kind of question that had to be asked and answered through established channels." 2932
