(KGTV) -- DoorDash announced Thursday that the information of 4.9 million users was affected by a data breach. The company said in a blog post that 4.9 million consumers, Dashers and merchants who joined before April 5, 2018 were affected. According to DoorDash, profile information including names, email addresses, delivery addresses, order history, phone numbers and hashed, salted passwords were accessed during the breach. The company says the last four digits of payment cards and bank accounts were also compromised for some consumers, delivery workers and merchants, but full credit card and banking information was not accessed. For 100,000 Dashers, driver’s license numbers were also accessed, the company said. DoorDash says it’s in the process of notifying those affected. (KGTV) - Heavy fog and thick mud were no match for Justify at the Pimlico Race Course on Saturday.The chestnut colt took the lead late in the race for a nailbiting ending and won the 143rd Preakness Stakes.After winning the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago and the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, Justify now moves on to the Belmont Stakes with the hope of winning the coveted Triple Crown.The Belmont Stakes take place on June 9. Justify will enter the race aiming to be the sport's 13th Triple Crown winner.American Pharoah is the most recent Triple Crown winner having won the title in 2015. (KGTV) - Income taxes on military pension is pushing a lot of people out of California. A new study proves that taking those taxes away would actually help both veterans and the state. For the people who served their country, it's tough to make it in California. "My wife just retired," said Matthew Schillingburg. "I just retired and so we're all on disposable income right now."He served in the army for more than 20 years. When his income is taxed by the state it can be hard to get by. "The thing that’s really holding us here, this community right here in San Diego that we grew up and love so much, our kids and our grandkids here," Schillingburg added.He joins 1.8 million military veterans who live in California. Many of them are looking to leave the state for more affordable areas where their pension won't take a hit. Assembly Bill 2394 is trying to change that. "If we can eliminate that, that helps us have more disposable income and we can consume more in the community that we love so much," said Schillingburg.According to a new study, if veterans were exempt from state taxes there would be big changes by the year 2025. More than 12,000 jobs would be added to the economy, along with 0 million in total personal income, million in state and local taxes and billion in total business sales. The bill is currently in committee. (KGTV) - Disneyland's popular Aladdin-themed rest stop for weary park goers will undergo a tropical renovation."Aladdin's Oasis" will become "The Tropical Hideaway!" in the theme park's Adventureland area.
