The Russian lawyer who attended a 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with members of the Trump campaign was charged by federal prosecutors in New York with obstruction of justice in a money-laundering case, according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday that highlighted her ties to the Russian government.Natalya Veselnitskaya, who gained prominence as a result of a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and other members of the Trump campaign after he had been promised damaging intelligence on Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, was indicted by the Manhattan US Attorney's office. As that case proceeded, Veselnitskaya, a member of the defense team in that matter, allegedly gave a false declaration to the federal court in New York about the Russian government's investigative findings in that case, concealing from the court that she "had participated in drafting those supposed independent investigative findings in secret cooperation with a senior Russian prosecutor," according to the indictment.Veselnitskaya is not in the US and it's unlikely that she'll ever see court or be taken into custody unless she leaves Russia. She told CNN Tuesday that she would "defend her professional honor" in the case and declined to comment further about the matter, saying she just learned of the news.Emails released by Trump Jr. show that he agreed to the meeting after being told the "crown prosecutor of Russia" wanted to give the Trump campaign incriminating information about Clinton. Instead, Trump Jr. later said, Veselnitskaya focused on the repeal of the Magnitsky Act, a 2012 law that sanctions Russians accused of violating human rights.Veselnitskaya has said in interviews that she has a working relationship with Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika and that they exchanged information during her lobbying efforts against the Magnitsky Act. She has denied that she has ever worked for the Russian government, and a Kremlin spokesman has said the notion was "absurd."It's unclear if there was any response from the Trump team to the request from Veselnitskaya concerning the Magnitsky Act. The Trump administration has not moved to roll back the Russian sanctions, and, in fact, new sanctions against Russia have been enacted.Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating the Trump Tower meeting as part of his probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election. The special counsel's office declined to comment on whether it contributed to the Veselnitskaya investigation or referred it to the US Attorney's office. The indictment of Veselnitskaya appears to stem directly from the New York case concerning the Cyprus-based investment firm Prevezon Holdings Ltd. and its Russian owner, Denis Katsyv.Veselnitskaya attended proceedings in the US for the case, including a hearing in Manhattan on the same day of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting. This story is breaking and will be updated. 2912

TULSA, Oklahoma — Pharmacists are fighting for new legislation that would keep insurance companies from telling customers which pharmacies to use. Pharmacy Benefit Managers often referred to as PBMs, are companies hired to help insurance companies save money. But Tulsa Pharmacist Chris Schiller said it's the patients who end up paying more. "They negotiated drug prices and did lower costs," Shiller said. "But since that time 15 years ago, they've used all these different tactics to make money where they've actually increased costs 1,010 percent."Schiller hopes HB2632 and SB841 will pass and help regulate PBMs. He said PBMs tell the patient what pharmacy they can use, eliminating your choice of where to get your prescription filled. "I'm hoping to see a level playing field for all pharmacies that protects the patient's right to choose," Schiller said. "Patients shouldn't be penalized to use the pharmacy they are most comfortable with." "I've been coming to Economy Pharmacy since they opened years ago," Kenda Skaggs said. Skaggs travels from Sand Springs to get her prescriptions. She said it's important to her to see a pharmacist she trusts. "They don't make mistakes," Skaggs said. "They know me and they know the meds I am on, and I trust them with their advice." Schiller said because of PBMs, local pharmacies may not be here a few years down the road."It's getting to that point, to where they're reimbursing so low, and directing so many patients out of state, that there aren't going to be as many pharmacies if we do not pass some regulations," Schiller said. 1597

Tucked away in the small town of Castle Rock, Colorado is a basement full of nostalgia. When you walk into Brett Martin’s basement, you’re actually walking into a museum of video game memorabilia. “I think people think I’m nuts, but I also think they recognize the passion,” Martin says. “I am the world record holder for the largest video game memorabilia collection.” Martin was born to be a collector of video game stuff. He shares his birthday with Super Mario. “I was born in 1981, the same year Mario was,” Martin says. His basement is covered from top to bottom, full of figurines and mementos dedicated to video game characters. “I know there’s lots of video game collectors, but there’s not a lot of video game memorabilia collectors,” Martin says. “Which makes my collection pretty unique.” According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Martin was coined the largest collector of video game memorabilia in 2013. “In 2012, I had it appraised. It was around a 0,000,” the collector says. “Now, I’d argue it’s around 0,000 because the value of some of the stuff I bought has really ramped up.” Of course, people like Martin have traveled from all over the world to visit his massive collection. “So, I have a little community of collectors that have found me over the years,” Martin says. “Most of them from other countries.” However, collecting with this kind of passion is so much more. “You have to look inside yourself and realize why you’re doing it,” Martin says. “It comes from preservation, cause there’s so few of them, especially in good conditions. So, a certain part of it is historical, and a certain part of it is nostalgic.”Martin is married with four kids, and said that he hopes his collection could help his family in the future. “Going forward, I realize you can’t take the collection with you,” Martin says. 1855

The Trump administration is making revisions to the naturalization test for the first time in a decade, US Citizenship and Immigration Services announced Friday. The agency is focusing on changes to the civics portion of the test, though there could also be updates to the English section, according to a USCIS official. The announcement comes amid a heated debate over who should be allowed in the country after President Donald Trump targeted progressive congresswomen, telling them to "go back" to where they came from. Three of the four women were born in the US. The other is a naturalized citizen. As of March 2019, the overall national pass rate is 90%. In fiscal year 2018, nearly 757,000 people were naturalized, USCIS says. The citizenship test, which immigrants must pass to become US citizens, was last revised in 2009. It 843
