Five US Marines who were missing after two aircraft collided mid-air off the coast of Japan on Thursday morning have been declared dead, the US Marine Corps said.The US military called off its search for the Marines on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Marine Expeditionary Force."The Marine Corps has pronounced the five remaining Marines involved in the F/A-18 and KC-130 aviation mishap deceased," the Marine Corps said in a statement. FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. -- The sheriff's department is investigating after vandals left anti-Semitic graffiti in several locations in Floyd County over the weekend. The Jewish Community Relations Council shared an image of the vandalism at the Azalea Hills retirement community Monday evening.“The JCRC condemns the anti-Semitic and homophobic vandalism perpetrated against the Azalea Hills retirement community in Floyd Knobs, Indiana,” the group said in a post on their page Tuesday.The Floyd County Sheriff told WHAS-TV that they believe a group of teens was responsible for the vandalism and they do not believe it was targeted at anyone in particular.That same night, deputies found damage to several other areas in town including anti-Semitic graffiti on a school bus, damaged mailboxes and an overturned sheriff’s department trailer.“It’s damage to personal property, that’s the issue,” Sheriff Frank Loop said. “It’s not about any kind of hate crimes or anything like that.”The vandalism at Azalea Hills was cleaned up by Tuesday afternoon. The incident comes just a month after anti-Semitic graffiti was found at a Carmel synagogue, prompting Indiana's Governor Eric Holcomb to push for a hate crime law in Indiana. FOUNTAIN, Colorado — Two people are dead after a truck caught fire and exploded south of Fountain, Colorado on Thursday morning.The incident happened at the Ray Nixon Power Plant. Firefighters said a crew was drilling for soil core samples when the truck's boom hit a 13,000-volt overhead power line.Two subcontractors were killed, firefighters said. Firefighters battling the Holy Fire in Southern California took care of a dehydrated fawn Monday afternoon. Officials with the Cleveland National Forest tweeted that the firefighters stumbled upon the fawn and discovered she was heat exhausted and dehydrated. The men can be seen in a photo giving the fawn a much-needed drink of water before helping get her back on her feet.  410
