DETROIT — Family Video is one of the last surviving video stores in the country. And they're trying a new tactic to bring people into the store: selling CBD products. “It’s been crazy,” said Erin Gardner, the store manager of the Family Video in Waterford Township, Michigan.Gardner says the owner of Family Video, Keith Hoogland, tried CBD balm to help with his tennis elbow. It worked so well for him, he wanted to share the benefits of CBD products with Family Video customers. Right now, there are around 76 stores in Michigan selling CBD products, and it’s expected to launch at all 100 stores in Michigan by the end of this week.CBD, or cannabidiol, is the non-psychoactive ingredient of cannabis plants and can be extracted from the two strains of cannabis, both hemp and marijuana. CBD oil has been found in lotions, creams and food. And although the only CBD products officially approved by the US Food and Drug Administration is a prescription oil called Epidiolex, proponents say it can have many health benefits for humans and pets.Family Video’s products are THC-free.“Some other CBD products have traces of THC in it, and then you’ll fail drug tests. So, taking ours, it’s just 100 percent THC-free,” Gardner said.He says people are coming in not only for the CBD, but to pick up a movie, giving people a sense of nostalgia. “People kind of forget that we are even here sometimes I think or even a young generation doesn’t come in here sometimes. Dangalabba, a nearly 14-foot Estuarine Crocodile, has now made its home at the Perth Zoo in Australia after being rescued after officials feared for the crocodile's safety. Dangalabba was rescued from a crocodile farm in Broome, Australia, which is clear 1,400 miles from Perth. Dangalabba then made the journey to the Perth Zoo in a climate-controlled truck. "Dangalabba’s move to Perth was no small feat," the Zoo said. "It was planned to precision and involved a climate-controlled truck to keep the crocodile as happy and comfortable as possible, whilst a roster of truck drivers drove continuously so we could complete the 2000km+ journey quickly and safely."On Thursday, Dangalabba jumped into his pool, which is kept at 80 degrees. The Perth Zoo said that the the Estuarine Crocodile was hunted intensely and was listed as a threatened species. It has since been removed from the threatened species list in Australia. 937

Employees for the online retailer Wayfair say they plan a walkout from company headquarters Wednesday in protest of the company selling furniture to migrant detention facilities.According to a woman identifying herself as an employee of the company, Wayfair employees learned last week that an order for about 0,000 worth of bedroom furniture was placed by BCFS, which operates migrant facilities for the Department of Health and Human Services. BCFS is set to open a new facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, which will accommodate about 1,600 unaccompanied minors.More than 500 employees sent a letter Friday to senior management, asking the company to no longer do business with BCFS. They also asked Wayfair to establish a code of ethics that "empowers Wayfair and its employees to act in accordance with our core values." CNN has seen a copy of the email sent by employees to Wayfair senior management."The United States government and its contractors are responsible for the detention and mistreatment of hundreds of thousands of migrants seeking asylum in our country — we want that to end," the employees said in the letter. "We also want to be sure that Wayfair has no part in enabling, supporting, or profiting from this practice."Wayfair management responded in a letter to employees, also obtained by CNN, saying it still plans to do business with BCFS."As a retailer, it is standard practice to fulfill orders for all customers and we believe it is our business to sell to any customer who is acting within the laws of the countries within which we operate," the Wayfair's leadership team said in the letter. Dollar Tree/Family Dollar and Dollar General will pay the State of New York .2 million as part of a settlement for selling expired drugs and obsolete motor oil, the N.Y. Attorney General announced on Monday.The Attorney General's Office said that investigators found over-the-counter drugs that were months beyond their expiration dates at Family Dollar, Dollar General and Dollar Tree locations as well as a number of motor oils that are not suitable for vehicles for engines made after 1988 at Dollar General. Investigators even found at multiple Dollar General locations a type of motor oil, DG SAE-30, which is not suitable for engines built after 1930. “It’s a tough pill for New Yorkers to swallow that the over-the-counter drugs they were buying may have been expired,” said New York Attorney General Letitia James. “New York consumers have a right to expect that products on store shelves are safe, fresh and suitable for their advertised use.
