I appreciate it!" Proctor exclaimed as she received a re-furbished 2017 Toyota Corolla.Before she arrived, the Corolla was loaded with items from a simple wish list: Diapers, baby clothes, a stroller, a car seat, and a teddy bear in a blue vest. All are the same color as the car. It's much needed transportation. "Drive back & forth to work and take my daughter to daycare and go to the grocery store and things I was doing on foot," she said. "They did. They did it in blue; it's my favorite color. So awesome." A small town girl from Indiana, where it's snowing now, Haley was grateful on many levels. The Armed Services YMCA, Caliber Collision, and Allstate Insurance weren't finished; presenting her with a check for 00 dollars."It's gonna make my life 2,000 times better!" she added. "So overwhelmed I can't even cry. Thank you so much. Such a blessing." One other blessing coming in about four months, "I think I'm gonna name her Gabriella. She's a blessing and this whole team's been a blessing to me. I am so appreciative and I hope that one day I can give back to someone that done something good." It is an early Christmas gift for Haley and a birthday present, too. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Wells Fargo Bank officials are offering a ,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for robbing three San Diego-area banks.The string of robberies started September 11 at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 5522 Balboa Avenue in Clairemont, followed by a second theft October 6 at the branch located at 276 N. El Camino Real in Encinitas.In a release, FBI and the San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force officials said they believe that the same individual, described as a white male in his 50s-60s, is responsible for both robberies."In each robbery, the robber approached the teller and presented a note demanding money from the bank in a similar manner," said FBI special agent Davene Butler.Images from those robberies show the suspect wearing a hat and sunglasses. Each time, the robber was provided a sum of cash and departed the bank on foot, Butler said. 946

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Two weeks after their son was killed, the parents of Alexander Mazin spoke to 10News for the first time about the brutal attack.Penelope and Jeffrey Mazin say their son left for the 24 Hour Fitness gym on Midway Dr. around 9 a.m. on Feb. 25, 2018.“I said 'I love you' and I kissed him on his little fuzzy beard,” remembered his mom, “and he walked out the door. I’m glad I saw him that morning.”He was scheduled to meet with his dad at noon, but by 12:05, his parents were already worried. He was never late.They started calling hospitals and police stations. Little did they know, officers were already searching for him.“Two plainclothes detectives in black cars pulled up and my heart sunk because I knew right then and there something horrible must have happened,” said Jeffrey.The suspect in the case has been identified as Ernesto Castellanos.The Mazins say Castellanos was in a previous relationship with their son’s girlfriend. They say Alexander had been dating the woman for about three months but kept their relationship somewhat private.There were warning signs. Two weeks before the killing, they say Castellanos had attacked the woman while she was working out with Mazin at a 24 Hour Fitness.Castellanos’ whereabouts are unknown. SAN DIEGO (KGTV)-- A man was shot in the leg Friday morning in downtown San Diego's East Village neighborhood by a man who approached him asking to buy drugs, San Diego police said.The shooting was reported around 4:40 a.m. on 16th Street between K Street and Imperial Avenue, just west of Interstate 5.According to police, a man who looked to be in his 20s approached the victim on 16th Street, and walked off when said the victim replied that he didn’t sell drugs.About 20 minutes later, the same man returned and confronted the victim, pulled out a handgun and shot him in the leg.The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.The gunman was described as a 5-foot-8 black man in his 20s with a heavy build and curly black hair. At the time of the shooting, he wore a blue jacket and gray pants.Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call San Diego Police Department's central division at 619-744-9500. 944
