HESPERIA, Calif. (KGTV) - Snow and ice created dangerous conditions for Southern California drivers on the ‘White Christmas’ Tuesday morning. In San Diego County, drivers spun out on icy roads in higher elevations, including Sunrise Highway on Mount Laguna.On Interstate 15, dozens of cars piled up on the northbound lanes in the high desert city of Hesperia, Victor Valley News reported. Mobile phone video showed a man yelling for people to leave the road, followed by the sounds of crashing cars. "As soon as I hit the top of the hill, it was ice, black ice. I crashed and everyone else around me was crashing too," Brian Bolik told Victor Valley News. "A car behind us went over the embankment and rolled." Bolik said he and another off-duty EMT heard a woman screaming in the pileup, VVN reported."I knew I needed to pull her out of the situation because the cars were just coming and coming, and then diesel trucks were also coming fast and she couldn't get out," stated Bolik. "She had a broken leg. At the time I didn't think about getting hit by other cars, I just wanted to help the lady to safety," Bolik told VVN. Each phone call will cost you .To get started, users will need to download the CVS app and complete a health questionnaire. Users will then be matched with a healthcare provider in the patient's state. They will look over the questionnaire and the medical history provided. After that, the video chat begins.  Many say this method is a better option than self-diagnosing yourself on WebMD. However, it does beg the question: can you really be properly diagnosed over the phone?Kevin Flynn with Healthcare Advocates says Telehealth is helpful in many ways, but there are a few downsides, especially if you think you have the flu."There's also a danger with the flu, which is dehydration," says Flynn. "Can a doctor really properly diagnose the dehydration over tele-medicine?"Flynn says Telehealth is great for those over the age of 40, who know and understand their bodies. Lopez also said the head was decomposed and it is unknown how long the remains may have been present near the road.“We do have a wooded area on both ends so although we are in the center of the city, it occurred in a pocket where it is pretty hard to determine if anyone saw anything at all," Lopez added. Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday that the state would conduct a hand recount in the 2020 presidential election.Raffensperger said a hand recount would help reassure voters of the integrity of the election. According to The Associated Press, Raffensperger says he wants the process to begin this week and expects the recount to be finished by Nov. 20.Under Georgia law, candidates are entitled to request a recount if the outcome percentage is within 0.5%. Biden currently holds a 0.28% lead in the state. Raffensperger says once the hand recount is finished, the losing candidate can then request a second machine hand recount.The presidential race between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the state remains too close to call, though Biden holds a lead of more than 14,000 votes in the state with 99% of the vote count.Recounts typically only affect the outcome of about a few hundred votes. In a 2016 recount of the presidential election in Wisconsin — which went to Trump by a margin of about 20,000 votes — the outcome only shifted about 500 votes. A recount in Florida in 2000 did have an impact on the election, as it was the tipping-point state in the election and was decided by about 500 votes.Officials in Georgia have not reported any systematic issues with the vote that would indicate widespread issues in tallying.Even if the vote count were to flip in Georgia, Biden is projected to still have more than the required 270 electoral votes to claim the presidency. HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies arrested a 71-year-old Hernando County Commissioner on Thursday for allegedly hiring a prostitute and letting his home be used as a house brothel.In February, deputies were called to the home of Hernando County Commissioner Nick Nicholson because his roommates, 30-year-old Valerie Surette and 32-year-old Kendel Surette were involved in a domestic dispute.While in the home deputies found drug paraphernalia. Nicholson was home at the time and claimed to be unaware of the drugs that he said belonged to his roommates.During the investigation Kendel Surette admitted to deputies that his wife, who is a former stripper, has sex with Nicholson on Tuesdays and Saturdays in exchange for rent and food.He also told deputies Nicholson pays Valerie Surette 0 a week for the sex and allows his wife to bring “customers” into the home for sex.Following a two-month-long investigation, deputies arrested Nicholson for one count of owning a home for the purpose of prostitution and two counts of engaging in prostitution. His bond is set at ,000.A former political supporter of Nicholson’s said he is disappointed."I feel badly for Nick and his family, but as a citizen I'm angry, he's let us down," said Forrest Bennett.Hernando County Government sent out this message: "This is a personal legal matter for Mr. Nicholson; therefore, the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners nor its staff, will provide a statement on this subject at this time."Scripps station WFTS in Tampa reached out to other Hernando County Commissioners for comment.Commissioner Jeff Holcomb said he asked that Nicholson step down as chairman of the commission back in 2015 when a similar issue involving a stripper was being investigated.
