Fans of Nutella are going absolutely nuts after the brand changed its recipe.Nutella said in a post on its German Facebook page on Tuesday that it was "fine tuning" its recipe. It said the addition of more powdered milk increased the spread's sugar content.The brand's U.S. Twitter page also confirmed the recipe had changed. The news was met with howls of rage on the internet, where loyal customers professed their love for the old recipe."OMG!! They are changing the recipe of #Nutella!!!," wrote one Twitter user. "NOOOOOOOO HOW DARE THEY!! Leave the sugar & coco alone!!!"The recipe change was first publicized by the Hamburg Consumer Protection Center, which said last week that the tweak had made the chocolate spread's color lighter.The group said that, according to the ingredient list printed on Nutella packaging, the proportion of skimmed milk powder had increased to 8.7% from 7.5%."Cocoa has slipped back in the list of ingredients," it said. ESCONDIDO, Calif., (KGTV)-- Residents in Escondido shared their concerns Wednesday about the flooding on Country Club Drive.Neighbors said after every rain event, the street floods and closes, which creates not only an inconvenience but a safety hazard. There is no stop sign on Country Club Drive. But Jason Farr is at a stand-still. "I can't get in and out of our neighborhood," Farr said. Farr's concern is that Country Club Drive is the only way in and out of his community."If emergency crews need to get here… If there are a couple of feet of water on top of the bridge, that's one thing, but if there's more like I saw yesterday, they just won't be able to get in and out," Farr said. He said he has several elderly neighbors who no longer have the strength or speed to evacuate at once. The flooding also trap his children from getting to school. "We have to be constantly be deciding if we want to bring our kids to school. Because I do not feel comfortable dropping my kids off to school and them not being able to be picked up," Farr said. While the water receded overnight, by 8:30 AM Wednesday the water crested back over the road. Farr said his neighbors told him that the severity of the problem got much worse as new developments sprouted into the once lonely neighborhood. ESTERO, Fla. — A Florida man saved his dog from certain death after he wrestled an alligator that snatched the puppy and dragged the pooch into a pond."He just came out like a missile," 74-year-old Richard Wilbanks of Estero said of the gator that attacked Gunner, his cavalier King Charles spaniel.Wilbanks jumped into the water, pried open the gator's mouth and freed Gunner from the gator's jaws.The rescue was caught on camera by the Florida Wildlife Federation.Wilbanks told CNN that his hands were "just chewed up," but Gunner is doing OK."We live on a shared landscape," Florida Wildlife Federation spokeswoman Meredith Budd told WINK-TV in Fort Myers. (KGTV) -- Encinitas lifeguards are investigating after a Panga Boat washed ashore Friday afternoon.According to lifeguards, the 20-foot boat washed ashore around 4 p.m. on the 300 block of El Portal Street and about 11 people ran from the vessel.Lifeguards say they don’t believe anyone was injured or needed medical attention.Border Patrol, Homeland Security, and the Sheriff’s Department were all notified about the incident. Multiple agents have responded and are combing the area. 510
