He said the upcoming trip to China will benefit the students greatly as well as further consolidate close ties between the two countries. Obviously Australia and China are very close and partners in a number of different ways."

However, China has underlined that the AIIB will take an open and inclusive attitude and be complementary to existing development banks and it will strengthen the region's communication, social and economic development.
