SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Local and federal authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a father suspected of abducting his two children and fleeing to Mexico.Authorities said on Jan. 12, 2019, Foong Lian Chin’s ex-wife dropped off their two sons, with the understanding that he would return them to her on the following day.However, when Chin did not return the kids, the ex-wife “called law enforcement to check Chin’s address” but “there was no answer at his house.” Law enforcement also tried to reach Chin by phone but could not get a hold of him.On Jan. 16, 2019, a court gave Chin’s ex-wife full custody of the couple’s children and an arrest warrant was issued for Chin. Authorities said the million warrant is for parental child abduction.According to authorities, investigators learned Chin took his sons -- 8-year-old Huaiyu Chin and 7-year-old Binyu Chin -- to Mexico.Chin, who immigrated to the U.S. from Singapore in the 1980s, has lived in New York, Southern California, and Baja California.Chin and his sons were believed to have last been spotted in Tijuana, Mexico.Chin is Asian, 47 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — It may sound like a scene out of "Jurassic Park," but you'll soon be able to check out more than 70 life-like dinosaurs from your car at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru is bringing back the popular event with a twist, introducing visitors to a drive-thru display of animatronic dinos at the fairgrounds from Jan. 1 to 10 next year.From their vehicles, guests will experience the massive models — from a Tyrannosaurus rex to Triceratops to 50-foot Megalodon — roaring and moving in realistic displays as they drive through the tour. An audio tour guide will lead guests through the hour-long tour.Organizers say attendees will have limited contact, if any, with staff on-site, and that state and local coronavirus precautions will be taken.Tickets start at per vehicle, with the option for "dinosaur surprise" add-ons. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — King tides are expected to hit San Diego County's coastline starting this weekend.The high tide event is forecasted to begin Sunday, Nov. 15, and last through Monday, Nov. 16, according to the California King Tides Project. Another round of king tides is also expected next month from Dec. 13 through Dec. 15.High tide is set to steadily rise through the weekend, with Friday's high tide reaching 6.9 feet ahead of Saturday's 7.3-foot high tide. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Local supporters of both Joe Biden and Donald Trump were watching the election vote count closely throughout Friday.Ellen Nash, who heads the San Diego chapter of the Black American Association of Califorina, a minority advocacy group, put up her Biden/Harris yard sign about a month ago.During the election season, she helped organize a voter registration campaign. Since election night, it's been a constant case of the nerves."Incredibly excited, praying night and day," said Nash.Her eyes have been glued to the television and coverage of the vote count. Throughout Friday, her candidate edged closer to being declared the winner."I will feel relieved that the trauma is over. I'm speaking as a black woman who has been under significant trauma the last four years, in terms of some of the language and behavior of the leader of the free world.
