SUNLAND (CNS) - Firefighters Friday used a helicopter to hoist a horse to safety after the animal became stranded down a hillside on private property in Sunland.Rescuers were sent to the 11300 block of North Oro Vista Avenue shortly before 7 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.The 30-year-old male horse, named Sunny, apparently was not injured, but was lying on the ground, and efforts to help him to his feet were unsuccessful, the LAFD reported.A helicopter was brought in, a veterinarian medicated Sunny, and the 800- to 900-pound horse was airlifted on a sling about 10 a.m. to safe ground, where he was to be examined for possible injury. 668

He also cannot compete against the company for two years.The separation agreement also notes that Wynn must leave his residence at Wynn Las Vegas by June 1 and pay fair market rent until that date. Wynn can terminate the lease before that date. Wnny wll also cease to have administrative support after May 31 and health insurance through the company after Dec. 31, according to the document. Wynn's employment with Wynn Resorts began on Oct. 4, 2002 and ended on Feb. 6, 2018. He resigned following allegations of sexual misconduct. The document also acknowledges that Wynn agrees to cooperate with Wynn Resorts Board of Directors investigation into his time at the company. State Superintendent Tony Evers defeated incumbent Gov. Scott Walker and will become the next governor of Wisconsin. Evers, a Democrat, won with 50 percent of the vote over the Republican governor Walker. The two were locked in a tight race, with the latest Marquette University Law poll showing the race at a dead heat. Walker has served as Wisconsin’s governor since 2011. Walker and Evers traded barbs over a number of topics, including healthcare. The two disagreed on whether Republicans would keep pre-existing conditions in the healthcare policy while dismantling other portions of the Affordable Care Act. A key element of Walker’s campaign was the issue of taxes, claiming if elected Evers would certainly raise them. In particular, he said Evers would raise the gas tax in the state of Wisconsin. Evers denied having such plans days before Election Day. The two also focused on education in Wisconsin. Evers, the state superintendent, said in a rally the night before the election he planned for a .5 billion increase in K-12 education.
