"It's really a very effective way to get unstuck when you have an issue like ADHD or autism."She says children with ADHD and autism may have be having more difficulties amid the pandemic than others."What we've seen during the pandemic is an exacerbation of pre-existing conditions, and some kids for the first time are showing signs of panic, loneliness, depression and anxiety," Capanna-Hodge said. "Certainly, we're seeing parents who are extremely overwhelmed."Those same overwhelmed parents, hoping for holiday togetherness, are now having to explain to their children why they have to have a quieter than usual holiday gathering.Capanna-Hodge has three tips for parents to do just that.1. OTAY MOUNTAIN (CNS) - A small brush fire that broke out on Otay Mountain was set as a signal by a man who was hurt after entering the United States illegally, an official said Saturday.Border Patrol agents interviewed a 25-year-old Mexican citizen who said he started the fire after he hurt his ankle and was left behind by a larger group he had crossed the border with, according to U.S. Border Patrol Agent Eduardo Olmos.A Cal Fire battalion chief said the blaze was set as a signal fire.The fire was reported on the mountain, which is east of Otay Mesa and just north of the U.S.-Mexico border, around 11:30 a.m., Cal Fire Capt. PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A nursing assistant in Pasco County, Florida was arrested after allegedly molesting a disabled female who she was tasked with caring for.Christina Nappo is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of an elderly person.She was caring for an elderly and disabled woman described as having serious brain trauma and the mentality of a 10-year-old.She is accused of committing inappropriate acts with a shower head. Deputies say that being a CNA, Nappo reasonably knew the victim either lacked the ability to give consent or failed to give consent.She is also accused of teaching another CNA how to do the same thing.Nappo was arrested without incident and taken to Land O' Lakes detention facility. 742
