(KGTV) — Parents can bring their kids to Disneyland on the cheap to kick off the new year.The park is offering three-day, one-park admission for children ages 3 to 9 years old for per day. The tickets are only around for a limited time and include one Magic Morning, which grants admission to certain Disneyland attractions an hour before the park opens to the public.The deal slashes the price of a three-day, one-park ticket for kids down to 9. Usually, kids Park Hopper admission for three days runs 5, or 1 a day. The SoCal resident tickets can be used on any three days through May 21. A 26-year-old tattoo artist was arrested on sexual abuse and assault charges after an incident involving an intoxicated teen last month.According to police documents, a 19-year-girl was offered a free thigh tattoo at the Dark Side Tattoo shop in Phoenix. Arturo Emmanuel Palafox and the victim were reportedly alone in the shop when he was giving the teen her tattoo on March 16, 2018. The pair reportedly left to get a bottle of Crown Royal and were both drinking during the incident. Police paperwork says Palafox engaged in unwanted sexual contact and intercourse with the intoxicated victim several times, photographed her and was seen on surveillance video stirring her drink when she left the room. The victim reportedly noticed a green powdery substance in her cup when she returned from a trip to the bathroom. A family member of the victim contacted ABC15 and said the victim could not remember portions of the incident, matching similar reports from police paperwork. Police say the victim contacted her sister during the incident and said she had been raped. Her sister showed up at the tattoo shop and was eventually able to take her from the scene. She alerted police that Palafox was leaving the shop and police were able to detain him during a traffic stop. Evidence collected included a small bag of green powder, a bottle of alcohol, unopened condoms and surveillance footage from the tattoo shop.Palafox was booked into jail on 15 counts of felony sex assault, six counts of felony sex abuse, one count of aggravated assault, two counts of unlawful recording and one count of kidnapping.  1669

A 41-year-old Sheboygan, Wisconsin mom faces multiple charges after she had her 12-year-old daughter driver her car after she was drinking.According to the criminal complaint, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was called to I-43 at County Road V on Sunday, March 18 around 5:30 p.m. local time — after a 911 caller reported a child driving a Chevy Equinox SUV on the freeway while sitting on her mother’s lap.The deputy caught up to the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. When the deputy approached the vehicle, he noted a strong smell of intoxicants coming from inside. He also saw the 12-year-old girl was in the back seat and the mother, Amanda Hauke, was behind the wheel.The mother initially denied that the girl was driving the car in her lap – but later admitted that it was true. The 12-year-old girl also told the deputy that she did this.During a field sobriety test, the mother admitted to drinking roughly four hours before she was pulled over. A preliminary breath test was performed and showed Hauke’s blood alcohol level was .126. She was then arrested. After she was arrested, Hauke then admitted to authorities she had consumed “a couple glasses of wine with a co-worker at a bar between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. that afternoon.”Hauke is charged with: 1306

A 4-year-old girl was left alone inside a minivan overnight in a Milwaukee tow lot, Public Works Commissioner nominee Jeff Polenske said Tuesday at a news conference. Late Monday night, an impaired female driver was pulled over and arrested for an OWI when the vehicle was towed. Officers removed a 10-month-old child from the vehicle, but neglected to remove a 4-year-old girl from the backseat.Polenske said it wasn't until a tow lot employee heard the young girl crying that the girl was removed. Officials towed the car to the lot on around 12:30 a.m. The child was not discovered until around 8:30 a.m. Upon discovery, the child was checked by fire officials for immediate harm and later transported to the hospital for further review. Data from local meteorologists shows temperatures dipped as low as 19 degrees Monday night while the child was in the car.Milwaukee Public Works is reviewing more on the situation.   976

(KGTV) — The number of troops stationed at the U.S.-Mexico border will decrease from 5,600 to about 4,000 troops and their deployment will be extended into January, according to the Associated Press.The AP, citing U.S. officials speaking on the condition of anonymity, said a formal request submitted by the Department of Homeland Security Friday requested the additional support. The request has yet to be approved by Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, though military officials have been working with DHS to help develop the request, the AP reports.Troops were deployed by President Donald Trump in response to a migrant caravan from Central America. Of the 5,600 troops at the U.S. border, about 1,800 are currently in California.RELATED: Additional troops being sent to California border after migrants rush San Ysidro port of entryEarlier this week, the Department of Defense approved moving 300 troops, made up of mostly military police and engineers, from Texas and Arizona to the California border.
