(KGTV) - A small fire underneath the San Francisco Bay Bridge snarled afternoon traffic Tuesday.California Highway Patrol San Francisco reported a small fire under the bridge around 2:45 p.m., just west of Treasure Island.CHP officials tweeted out a photo of a small boat tackling the fire from the bay, spraying a massive spout of water onto the bridge.A portion of eastbound traffic was closed until the fire was extinguished just before 3 p.m. 459

Police eventually allowed the migrants to continue through after they refused to turn back. Oct. 16 — President Donald Trump tweets he's told Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, El Salvador, and Guatemala that "no more money or aid" will be given if they allow the caravan to continue to the United States.Oct. 19 — Migrants reach the Guatemala-Mexico border and begin to request asylum in Mexico.Oct. 20 — Battling sweltering heat while waiting to cross the border, some migrants begin to cross into Mexico using makeshift rafts to cross the Suchiate River and climbing over fences.Oct. 21 — Crowds of migrants continue their journey north from the Mexican border town of Ciudad Hidalgo. (KGTV) — A woman was arrested Friday after police said she threw apparent blood onto the state Senate floor.According to California Highway Patrol, the woman threw a feminine hygiene product containing what appeared to be blood from the second floor public gallery.CHP did not say what the woman's motivation was, but referred to her as a "demonstrator," the Associated Press reported. The act happened as hundreds of protesters at the Capitol rallied against a recently passed law cracking down on fraudulent medical exemptions for vaccinations.The AP also reported the woman had yelled "that's for the dead babies" before throwing the red liquid. Several senators were reportedly hit. Senate President Pro Tempore Toni Atkins called the behavior "unacceptable."The state Senate relocated to a committee room to complete their session.The woman was charged with assault, vandalism, and disrupting the orderly conduct of official business at the state Capitol, according to CHP. 986

(KGTV) — California is now allowing breweries, bars, wineries, and distilleries to sell drinks to-go if they partner with a meal provider to provide food as well.The state's Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) announced the change Friday, allowing locations that do not have their own kitchen to reopen for business in some fashion.The change comes after several requests to expand to-go sales to breweries, bars, wineries, and distilleries that do not have kitchens, according to ABC.
