INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman wants to know who tortured and killed her dog with a screwdriver. "She was like my daughter. I've had the dog for 10 years," said Lorrie Snowden, dog's owner.Snowden came home from the store on Wednesday afternoon to find Petta lying outside her door, bleeding from multiple stab wounds. "While I was gone, somebody broke into my house and attacked my dog, and then took my dog and attacked her somewhere else," said Snowden.The cockapoo was stabbed as many as 15 times. Somehow Petta found her way home."She had to crawl back and let her owner know something was wrong," said Snowden.She took Petta to an emergency vet clinic, but there was nothing they could do."They had to put her down. Democrats are beginning to post fundraising totals for Q2 and numbers show that despite the pandemic, donating to Democratic politicians isn't appearing to take a hit. For example, in Montana, Former Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock announced he has raised .7 million to defeat Republican Sen. Steve Daines, who is also expected to raise millions. Montana is shaping up to be a crucial state for Democrats. Currently, Republicans control 53 seats in the United States Senate. It is looking more likely a Republican will win the Senate race in Alabama which means Republicans will have 54 seats. But they must also defend seats in states like Montana, Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia and Maine. Democrats believe it is possible to win five of those races, giving Democrats control. Democrats would also gain control the Senate if they win four of those races and Joe Biden wins the presidency, since the vice oresident casts tie-breaking votes. MONEY TALKS The biggest sign yet that Democrats are focused heavily on the Senate is the race in South Carolina. Trump ally Sen. Lindsey Graham is up for reelection and his race is generally not seen as a competitive, yet Jaime Harrison, Graham's Democratic challenger, announced he has raised over million. While much focus is being placed on Democrats, Republicans are expected to match Democratic numbers when it is all said and done. Hollowell said someone turned it into him and that he then had to turn it into the archbishop."I was hurt, sad, I was hurt," said Fitzgerald. "I've been there 15 years. I've been a part of a community that loves each other. I was stunned. Fitzgerald says she was given four options: to resign, dissolve her marriage or, "stay kind of quiet and hope that it would, you know, stay quiet until the end of the year and keeping my job as long as possible if it stayed out of the media and then they would not renew my contract the following year.
