SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A San Diego woman said her ex-boyfriend stole naked pictures of her and posted one online without her permission. She said people saw the post and took screenshots of it.She’s now suing the man she says posted the photo, her ex-boyfriend William Ashley Oliver III."This pretty much consumed my life,” she told Team 10 investigator Adam Racusin.That’s L.S describing how one social media post of her naked body wrecked her sense of security. 10News is not naming the woman, but instead using the initials L.S. as they appear in her lawsuit against Oliver to protect her identity.“He was threatening for so long to do it that I didn't think he'd really do it,” she said.Their relationship started as most do: Girl meets boy, they fall in love and move in together. "I felt like I really got to know him fast and fell in love fast,” she said.Just like many relationships, everything was great until it wasn't. Unlike the typical breakup story, here's where this takes a different path.L.S. said she moved back to California in October of last year, about eight months after the relationship started.Oliver came to visit in late November, but things did not go well, she said.She said her ex-boyfriend became aggressive."He smashed my laptop in two, he smashed my brand new iPhone on the ground until it was shattered, and was calling me really horrible things,” she said.According to the lawsuit she filed, before leaving, Oliver took L.S’s passport and jewelry from the bathroom sink.A few days after that incident, while Oliver was still in San Diego, he began sending harassing text messages and copies of private photographs to L.S. to make it clear that at some point in their relationship he illegally accessed her computers and cell phones and stole sexually explicit and private digital photographs without her consent, the lawsuit stated."The pictures that he had were never sent to him they were taken before I ever met him," she said.According to the lawsuit, Oliver texted her: “Posted all your naked pics to the industry whore boards.” It said he also wrote among other things: “Your pics are getting blasted on services Moxy.”The lawsuit says L.S.’s pleas for Oliver to stop had no effect on him. The lawsuit claims Oliver then posted a sexually explicit photo of her on his public Instagram account, accessible by anyone, followed with the text: “(y)our naked pics are starting to proliferate.""My best friend sent me a text message, and she just said oh my god, and it was a screenshot of the picture that Will had posted on Instagram of me,” she said.Team 10 investigator Adam Racusin asked her what she thought when she saw that.“I was just so scared,” she said. “I was just devastated.”According to the lawsuit, Oliver admitted he posted the picture. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — After a bitter primary, voters are getting a clearer picture of who will move on in the race to replace Congressman Duncan Hunter in East County's 50th Congressional District. Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar and Republican Darrell Issa, a former Congressman, are leading the field. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Campa-Najjar had 34 percent of the vote; Issa had 25 percent, former San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio had 21 percent, and State Senator Brian Jones had 11 percent. There are still about 350,000 provisional and mail-in ballots to be counted. It is unclear how many of those would include district voters. RELATED: Campa-Najjar, Issa hold leads in 50th Congressional DistrictHunter resigned in January after pleading guilty to one felony count of campaign fraud. The seat has remained vacant since. On Wednesday, Campa-Najjar and Issa began taking at aim at one another in anticipation of facing off in the November runoff. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A transgender San Diegan is calling for change when it comes to blood donation.Currently, the FDA’s recommendation to blood establishments is that in the context of the donor history questionnaire, male or female gender should be self-identified and self-reported for blood donation.Van Levy of Pacific Beach is non-binary transgender, meaning Van does not identify as male or female. Van goes by gender-neutral pronouns like 'they', 'them', 'their', or just Van.Van tells 10News when they reached out to the San Diego Blood Bank, they were told they would not be able to donate if they could not fully complete the donor history questionnaire, which has two gender-specific questions. Van was told if they cannot fill out 'male' or 'female' on the questionnaire they would not be able to donate blood. “It was really hurtful and painful, it reminded me we haven’t progressed as much as a lot of us like to believe we have, it just hurt," said Van. The two gender-specific questions are, in the past 12 months, have you:Male Donors: Had sexual contact with another male?Female donors: Had sexual contact with a male who had sexual contact with another male in the past 12 months?Helen Bixenman is Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at the San Diego Blood Bank. She's in charge of making sure blood from the San Diego Blood Bank is safe and pure, free from transfusion-transmitted infections. “It’s important for people to understand we have a wide range of questions, and these questions pertain to the safety of the donor as well as the safety of the blood products. They include medications, how you’re feeling, travel, risk behaviors," said Bixenman.She says they must adhere to the strict regulations and requirements of the FDA and AABB. She says if anyone fails to fill out the entire donor history questionnaire they will be turned away from donating blood.Van wants to see this regulation changed and believes it marginalizes a group of people who only want to help their community. “I definitely understand the rules and regulations that they have to adhere too and I think that there's ways to remove gender from the questions to get to same answers they’re seeking to protect people receiving blood," said Van. Bixenman says the San Diego Blood Bank does not want to turn people away from blood donation.
