He was 6 at the time and would now be 14.The child told police he was being held in a Red Roof Inn somewhere in the Cincinnati area, but couldn't say which one, according to the police report. He said he escaped and kept running. He apparently crossed a bridge into Kentucky, the police report states. The boy described the kidnappers as two white males with body-builder type builds. One had black curly hair and was wearing a Mountain Dew shirt and jeans and had a spider web tattoo on his neck. The other was short with a snake tattoo on his arms. They were driving a white newer model Ford SUV with yellow transfer paint, Wisconsin plates and a dent on the left back bumper.An FBI spokesperson in Louisville said they're working with Newport, Kentucky police, Cincinnati police, the Hamilton County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office and Aurora, Illinois police on a missing child investigation.Multiple police agencies said they'd been told to check Red Roof Inns in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Damaging winds from a microburst struck a North Carolina school on Monday, forcing students to take cover after the school gym’s outer wall collapsed. Dozens of students at Union Intermediate School in Sampson County, North Carolina, were in the middle of gym class when video shows the wall collapsing. Video provided by the school shows debris flying into the gym as students ran away. The National Weather Service said winds of 80 to 85 MPH struck the school. The damage was comparable to a high-end EF-0 tornado. The microburst caused three minor injuries. The coronavirus crisis is causing pot sales to surge. “It’s never a dull moment around here now; it’s been crazy,” said a budtender at Euflora Recreational Marijuana Dispensary in metro Denver.Euflora has seen an 85% increase in sales since a stay-at-home order went into effect. “We have never seen anything like this,” said Ashley Chubin, Euflora national brand director.Chubin says her company’s dispensaries in California and Colorado are now only offering curbside pot pick-up.It’s an adjustment of day-to-day operations to make sure both workers and customers stay safe during this worldwide crisis.“We are trying to do our very, very best as far as what the state and government is saying,” she said. “Everybody has gloves. We’re standing six feet away.”As more people practice social distancing, Euflora leaders say they now have more of a social responsibility.“We need to stay healthy and safe and happy,” said store manager Pam Pacheco. “So, if we can continue to purchase safely, let’s do it.”Pacheco says customers are stocking up on everything from edibles to flower and that the curbside pickup is helping people get their pot – and peace of mind. “I think the nerves have calmed down,” she said. “I think this is catering to them.
