The ashes of world famous physicist Steven Hawking will be interred in London's Westminster Abbey near the graves of ground-breaking scientists Sir Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.In a statement released by the Abbey on Tuesday, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, Dean of Westminster, said it was a "fitting" tribute to the British scientist who passed away last week at the age of 76."We believe it to be vital that science and religion work together to seek to answer the great questions of the mystery of life and of the universe," Hall said in the statement. 567

Summer camps have been among a number of spots that have been known as “super spreaders” of the coronavirus,” locations where dozens or even hundreds of infections have spread.While there is an inherent risk with holding camps amid the coronavirus pandemic, the CDC says with proper precautions, the risk can be minimized.This week, the CDC outlined efforts by four summer camps in Maine held over the summer. The camps combined for more than 1,000 attendees coming from 41 states or territories. The result was a success, with only three known asymptomatic cases of the virus stemming from the camps. Testing played a key role in minimizing the risk. The attendees were tested days before coming to the camp. Of 1,022 attendees, four tested positive, which delayed their arrival. Attendees were also told to isolate in the days leading up to their arrival.Once at the camp, attendees were frequently checked for symptoms. During the camp, 12 people were isolated at times due to presenting symptoms, but all tested negative for the coronavirus. There were also three cases identified during the camps among asymptomatic attendees, two of whom were staffers. The three attendees were isolated for 10 days and not cleared until receiving two negative tests.“Thoughtful and prudent public health practices used during overnight summer camps in Maine reinforces how powerful everyday preventive actions are in reducing and keeping COVID-19 transmission low,” CDC director Robert Redfield. “Despite more than 1,000 campers and staff from nearly every state and seven countries, only three people tested positive for COVID-19 during the camp and no additional campers or staff were known to be infected. Surveillance video captured a woman red-handed, with her hand in a donation box at a 7 - Eleven in Melvindale, Michigan.However, she wasn’t putting in her two cents.  The images have some people outraged and giving the lady a piece of their minds. The video shows the woman standing at the counter. It appears when the coast was clear, she made her move.According to the video, she grabbed the donation box meant for the Dearborn Animal Shelter and people with Friends For Animals of Metro Detroit.The staff and volunteers help cats and dogs every step of the way. The donations are used for medical care, food, shelter and anything the animals need in order to help them get adopted.Now it’s gone. “There’s about 40 dollars in there coins and bills”, said 7-Eleven employee Michelle Roberson.“Robbing alone is disturbing, but from a charity that only helps people!,"  said David Wayman, who also works at the store. The shelter and the non-profit both need the support, said  Katie Johnson, Director of Operations with Friends of Animals of Metro Detroit.“We are a non-profit, we take in 2,500 animals a year and we rely on the generosity and support of wonderful donors," Johnson said. "We just put an appeal out there to say, whoever took it, please return it because it will really help us save a little furry life." If you would like to help them recoup some of the money that was lost when the donation box was stolen, you can make a donation at www.metrodetroitanimals.org. 1603

TAMPA, Fla. -- A woman who visited Hamburger Mary's in Tampa is suing the establishment for .5 million after she says she was injured by a drag queen's breast while at dinner with friends in 2015.Neldin Molina says she was with friends and family at the restaurant for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday on May 30, 2015, according to the complaint. The suit says this was the first time Molina had ever visited the restaurant in Tampa. She claims when she entered the establishment, she didn't see any signs of any special events.She was eating her fish n' chips dinner at approximately 8:45 p.m. when she heard music and heard someone begin to speak and then the crowd cheered and clapped. She turned her chair around to see what was going on and saw a person dancing on the stage that was in the restaurant behind her to the left. She started watching and overheard another table say that the drag queen show was starting.At approximately 9:40 p.m., Molina turned around and saw performer Amanda D'Hod point at her and start to walk toward her table. Molina claims she immediately turned around to ignore the performance. A few minutes later, Molina felt someone touch her shoulders from behind her.According to the complaint, D'Hod walked in front of Molina and unexpectedly grabbed Molina's head and "wiggled her breast against the Plaintiff's face and head 8 times." D'Hod reportedly grabbed Molina's face and pushed it to the left and right before "violently pounding" it against D'Hod's chest "up to nine times." The complaint says Molina let a restaurant manager know that she was in "excruciating" pain and she was getting a headache and she filed a complaint. The manager told Molina he would notify and give the complaint to the owner who was not currently at the restaurant. Molina later went to the emergency room at Memorial Hospital of Tampa for "excruciating cervical pain and uncontrollable headaches."The manager called Molina weeks later and gave her Insurance information for her to follow up on the complaint. Molina is seeking .5 million for medical costs and expenses for the past, present and future, including the pain and suffering she physically and mentally endured. The complaint also states that Hamburger Mary's failed to advise anyone of the possible dangers while dining at the restaurant.   2431
