Beyoncé left fans in awe during Saturday’s performance at Coachella, even sparking a viral hashtag.Following her two-hour-long performance, many fans took to Twitter with #Beychella.According to the Press-Enterprise, as many as 75 people appeared on stage with Beyoncé during the mega performance.Fans couldn’t get enough of the reunion of Destiny’s Child and Beyoncé’s duet with husband Jay-Z. Not only was the performance memorable, but also one for the history books."Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline," Beyoncé exclaimed before performing her hit song “Run the World (Girls).”The singer also made mention of the amount of time that went into planning the performance. Beyoncé was supposed to headline Coachella in 2017 but had to cancel because she was pregnant with twins, according to CNN."I am so excited to see the BeyHive tonight at Coachella. We have been working hard and have a special show planned for you so please be safe and stay hydrated," she wrote on Facebook. "We need your energy!" 1083

BOULDER, Colo. -- Officers across the country are getting backlash after the deaths of George Floyd and others at the hands of law enforcement. One officer wants people know there’s a human behind each badge and says now is a time for everyone to come together."To those of you who don't know me, I’m Vinnie Montez, a third generation Mexican American born in Boulder, Colorado," is how Montez starts his now viral video. In the video Montez, a Patrol Commander for the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, states "for the first time in my life, I’m deeply hurt because I have concluded people don’t think much of law enforcement."Vinnie Montez wears a badge and uniform to work, but he said those symbols don't define or speak for him.The commander with the sheriff's office also happens to be a stand-up comedian. His latest material is more commentary than comedy. His five-minute video has been viewed more than 1.3 million times since June 21."It’s really humbled me to be a voice, to create something from our perspective that is not intended to offend anyone, but just share our perspective and encourage people to get to know local law enforcement," Montez said of the post's meteoric views. That perspective includes the dark parts of the job we often don't see. Montez gets personal in his essay. He alludes to several difficult experiences from his law enforcement career."Do you know what it’s like to give CPR to a 17-year-old kid? To be covered in blood, to do everything you can to save his life but then die?" Montez asks in his video. "To go on those calls and try to remove that pain later on, it’s hard after the course of a career. I’m not the only one."Montez hopes his message will encourage communication from both law enforcement and those who they protect during this time of civil unrest. 1815

BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Scripps station KMGH in Denver spoke to a heartbroken Broomfield family who was scammed out of a lot of money and who is sharing their story in the hope no one else falls victim to the same scam.Bre Madsen and her dad, Terry, have always loved Labrador retrievers."As soon as I saw Leeya's face, I thought for sure this puppy grabs your heart."But when Terry saw 9-week-old adorable Leeya on GreatRetrievers.com, he knew she was the one."I'd really like a purebred 'cause I’d like to do some pheasant hunting as I get closer to retirement,” said Terry. The breeder appeared to be based in Texas and listed the lab at a reasonable price tag: 9. The breeder even offered free shipping, immunizations, guaranteed health record and was ready to go.Terry paid the amount two weeks ago and is still waiting for Leeya. He can’t seem to reach the breeder anymore by phone, but still receives the random excuse via email, explaining the missed shipping date."Just couldn't get this puppy on the airplane. Things weren't going right," said Terry as he recounted the last excuse he was given.Bre wanted to be sure about the scam and pretended to be someone else interested in Leeya."When I'm on the phone with the guy and he's telling me that Leeya is still available, it took everything in me not to just break down and cry," said Bre.KMGH tried calling multiple times and did not reach anyone, nor a recorded voicemail associated with the breeder. We started digging into the testimonials on the breeder website too.A photo of a little girl in a hospital bed with a caption from her mother, about how helpful the golden retriever was to her daughter stricken with cancer, is actually ripped from an AP article. The picture is of a little girl with cancer but the girl is located in Ecuador, and that dog... well, it’s actually a cocker spaniel.Unless there's a good explanation, it seems like Leeya might not make it to Colorado, so Bre and Terry are sharing their story."It was so hard to see my dad get his heart broken like that and I just thought if there was anything that would help this from happening to anyone else, I would do it. I don't want them to do this to another family," said Bre.For more information about the Pet Animal Care Facilities Act under the Colorado Department of Agriculture, visit PACFA where you can file a complaint if you suspect someone is posing as a breeder. Also, any person operating as a breeder must register and be licensed with the USDA. For a full list of licensed breeders across the country, visit this USDA link.  2645

Body camera footage recorded following the Toronto Raptors' 2019 NBA Finals win shows that a California sheriff's deputy shoved Raptors team president Masai Ujiri prior to a scuffle that's led to a lawsuit.Ujiri's legal team released the video, recorded from the body-worn camera of Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy Alan Strickland on Tuesday. The video shows the Raptors team president reaching for his credentials as he attempts to walk onto the court to celebrate following his team's Finals-clinching Game 6 114-110 win over the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. A moment later, Strickland shoved Ujiri and told him to "back the (expletive) up."Ujiri asked why he'd been pushed, and explained that he was the president of the team and that was trying to get on to the court to celebrate. Video released by KTVU-TV in San Francisco shows the deputy shoved Ujiri again before a scuffle ensued.Warning: The video below contains explicit language. 953

Both Twitter and Square are making #Juneteenth (June 19th) a company holiday in the US, forevermore. A day for celebration, education, and connection.https://t.co/xmR3fWMiRs— jack (@jack) June 9, 2020 208
