As they restrained him, bystander video shows one police officer, Derek Chauvin, kneeling on Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes as Floyd yelled he couldn't breathe. Chauvin continued to kneel on Floyd's neck for several minutes, even after he became unresponsive.The bystander video quickly went viral, prompting a wave of outrage. Health officials in Santa Clara County, California, say that they have traced 94 cases of COVID-19 to a youth basketball tournament that took place illegally at a nearby indoor sports complex last month.According to CNN, Courtside Basketball Center in Rocklin, California — located northwest of Sacramento — hosted a "Fall Fest" tournament on Nov. 7 and 8 that featured several teams and dozens of players and coaches.On Friday, The Mercury News reported that a total of 94 cases of COVID-19 — including 77 in Santa Clara County alone — could be traced back to the tournament.The Mercury News says the outbreak includes 39 "middle- and high school players," three coaches and 35 additional contacts."This outbreak is a troubling reminder that the widespread prevalence of COVID-19 in our community threatens all of us, and does not limit itself to geographic boundaries," Santa Clara County's assistant public health officer, Dr. Monika Roy, said in a statement.The California Department of Public Health said in a release that is has opened an "enforcement investigation" into the tournament's operator.CNN reported last month that the Courtside Basketball Center's website included a note that urged anyone who was in attendance for the tournament to get tested for the virus, "regardless of whether they have symptoms."As of last month, CNN reports that the complex had hoped to host four more basketball tournaments by the end of the year. Health officials in Wisconsin are warning against eating a traditional holiday dish called "cannibal sandwiches."According to the Wisconsin Historical Society, the dish is raw, lean ground beef served on bread with sliced onions, salt and pepper. (CNS) - A chase suspect who allegedly stole drills led authorities on an over two-hour pursuit Tuesday afternoon from Glendora to downtown Los Angeles, at one point stopping at a gas station to fill up his tank.The chase started about 4:10 p.m. after the suspect allegedly stole drills from The Home Depot store located at 1305 S. Lone Hill Ave., according to Lt. James De Mond of the Glendale Police Department.By 5:10 p.m., the suspect was in the unincorporated Avocado Heights area near Industry, where he pulled into a gas station near Valley Boulevard and Santa Mariana Avenue.It appeared that one person ran from the vehicle, and the driver stood outside the vehicle for a couple of minutes before getting back inside and driving westbound on Valley Boulevard.Shortly after, the suspect pulled into another gas station near Valley Boulevard and Peck Road, and ran inside the store to apparently pay for gasoline. He pumped gas briefly then got back onto Valley Boulevard.He drove on multiple freeways throughout the pursuit, including the Long Beach (710), San Bernardino (10), Pomona (60) and Santa Ana (101) freeways, where he exited at Fourth Street and drove into downtown Los Angeles.It was not immediately clear what happened to the suspect after he entered downtown Los Angeles about 6:20 p.m. 1331
