SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Quiet neighborhood walks have turned disturbing for a growing number of women in Rancho Bernardo.Along Paseo Lucido, feet from a park, Lauren was walking her dog one early evening two weeks ago. She walked past the passenger side of an older, white, 2-door Toyota."The front windows were down and the seat was back ... looked over inside the car and saw he was exposing himself and touching himself," said Lauren.'He' was a large man in his 30s with short dark hair."He smiled when he saw me looking. I immediately looked away. Just very anxious and scared," said Lauren.Lauren took off for a neighbor's house. When she returned minutes later, the car was gone. About a week later - around 6:30 a.m. last Thursday - Robbie was blocks away on Avenida Venusto when a similar car, driven by a man with a similar description, pulled ahead of her and parked in a red zone."Kind of slouched back. He has his pants down, and he's actively touching himself," said Robbie.And again, the stranger met a woman's glance before driving off."And he looked up at me with a big smile on his face," said Robbie. These women aren't alone, as Lauren found out when she posted her incident on the Nextdoor app for her area."There are at least seven other women who have encountered this person in the last few months," said Lauren.In many cases, the women report the car pulling ahead and stopping. "I think he's targeting women who are walking by themselves or slowly walking their dogs by themselves," said Lauren.In one of the other reports, a woman says the man was driving a gray Honda. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – One of the PGA Tour’s most popular events, the Farmers Insurance Open, will once again be held in San Diego, but no fans will be allowed to attend the January 2021 tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic.Event organizers Century Club of San Diego announced Monday that the Farmers Insurance Open is set for Jan. 25-31 at Torrey Pines Golf Course.However, spectators will be prohibited from the tournament site.Century Club CEO Marty Gorsich said, “We recognize that COVID-19 requires dramatic modifications to the operations of our annual event. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Officials with the San Diego Padres announced Friday that pitcher Luis Perdomo received a a five-game suspension for his role in Wednesday’s bench-clearing brawl during a game against the Colorado Rockies.The scrum began in the bottom of the third inning when Padres starting pitcher Luis Perdomo threw a 96-mph pitch that nearly hit Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado in the back.Arenado threw down his helmet and bat and charged Perdomo, who countered by throwing his glove at the batter. As Perdomo backed up to avoid an Arenado punch, players and coaches from both sides stormed the field in an attempt to break up the fight.RELATED: Base-brawl: Benches clear in Padres-Rockies game“Arenado has received a five-game suspension for charging the mound and then fighting.  Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra has received a four-game suspension for fighting during the incident,” the team said in a statement. "Padres pitcher Buddy Baumann has received a one-game suspension for fighting during the incident.  Perdomo, Arenado, Parra and Baumann all received undisclosed fines in addition to their suspensions.,” Padres team officials said.Padres catcher A.J. Ellis, infielder Freddy Galvis and Rockies pitcher German Márquez were also fined for their actions during the altercation.The brawl likely stems from Tuesday night when Padres outfielder Manuel Margot was hit in the ribs in the 9th inning. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after a body was found in Balboa Park Wednesday afternoon. According to officers, the body was found on the 2100 block of Balboa Drive near Juniper Road and the San Diego Chess Club. The cause of death is unclear at this time. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect who drove into a woman using a motorized chair in Central San Diego.On Dec. 9, just before 4 a.m., San Diego Police say 62-year-old Gloria Williams was riding her motorized mobility device in the left lane of the 100 block of Euclid Avenue, heading northbound. It's not clear why Williams was traveling in the roadway in the Lincoln Park area.The driver of a dark-colored SUV collided into the back of Williams and continued to drive northbound, according to police. Williams died at the scene.Police said they were able to retrieve some details of the suspect's vehicle using optical sensors from nearby Smart Street Lights. The street lights also captured the suspect stopping at a nearby gas station.Gas station surveillance footage showed the suspect, a black man wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers hooded sweatshirt and checkered pants, enter the gas station using a cane.Police are now asking the public for help to identify the suspect.
