Two suspects allegedly dismembered a missing soldier's body and attempted to burn it after she was bludgeoned to death, according to a federal criminal complaint released Thursday.Guillen went missing from Fort Hood on April 22. Human remains were found in connection with her disappearance earlier this week.The two suspects in the case have been identified as Spc. Aaron Robinson and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Cecily Anne Aguillar of Killen, Texas.The Army has confirmed that Robinson died Wednesday morning of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during an interaction with police. Aguillar is currently in custody in the Bell County Jail.According to the affidavit, on April 22, Robinson said he texted Guillen to inform her he was in the arms room at Fort Hood. The message is the last known text message Guillen received to her phone.In the message, Robinson told Guillen to read serial numbers for equipment and afterword he gave her paperwork and the serial number for a .50 caliber machine gun that needed servicing.Robinson said Guillen left the arms room, and he believed she would have gone to the motor pool. Witnesses at the motor pool prepared to receive paperwork from Guillen claimed she did not arrive with the paperwork.The affidavit says witnesses later saw Robinson pulling a large "tough box" with wheels, that appeared to be filled with a heavy object.On June 30, Aguilar told authorities that Robinson told her that he had hit a female soldier in the head with a hammer multiple times in the arms room, killing her, the affidavit says. US President Donald Trump has pointed to a massive caravan of migrants trekking north through Mexico as a major issue in the upcoming midterm elections.But when Election Day rolls around, on November 6, the caravan could still be somewhere in the middle of Mexico, given the group's current location, how fast it's been traveling and how long it's taken other groups of migrants to cross the country.On Tuesday, the caravan was in Huixtla, Mexico, about 50 miles from the Mexico-Guatemala border, where many of the caravan's members skirted authorities and crossed in rafts.It's still too soon to know exactly where along the vast US-Mexico border the bulk of this caravan will travel.The group only recently crossed into Mexico, and members are charting their movement daily.Organizers have told CNN they still don't know exactly which route they'll take. Much depends on the Mexican government and what routes the caravan is allowed to travel, whether its members are detained or held in certain areas and whether the group is provided with buses to speed their journey.There's a possibility some members of the caravan will split off and try to make their own way to the US-Mexico border, and that others will decide to stay in Mexico -- or return to their home countries. There's also a possibility Mexican authorities will detain members of the caravan at some point along their journey.The safest route would take them to Tijuana, across the US border from San Diego. A large caravan that crossed Mexico in the spring -- and also drew ire from President Trump -- took more than 30 days to reach Tijuana from Tapachula, Mexico -- a city this caravan departed on Monday.The closest border crossing to this caravan would be between Matamoros, Mexico, and Brownsville, Texas, about 1,111 miles away from the caravan's current location. But heading that way is considered a more dangerous route.To date, the caravan has traveled about 20 miles a day, largely on foot. If the caravan continues at that rate, reaching Tijuana could take months, and reaching Matamoros could take weeks. 2117

TUCSON, Arizona — An Arizona high school principal admitted on Facebook he changed the grades of seniors at the school, but claims his supervisor directed him to take that action. The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board of Pueblo High School in Arizona have voted to release a district report on the incident that has been kept confidential.The board released the following report:         The governing board is set to vote Wednesday, March 28 on whether to release a portion of the report by the law firm hired by the district.Pueblo High School principal Auggie Romero has come under fire in recent years over a grade changing scandal.  He's been on the hot seat after a teacher came forward to E.W. Scripps television station KGUN in Tucson — that Romero changed several seniors grades without her consent — a violation of state law. And she provided proof — her grade sheets."This is something that has never happened before in my 31 years as a teacher," said Yolanda Sotelo in 2016. Romeo even admitted on Facebook he changed the grades, but claimed his supervisor, Abel Morado, directed him to take that action. KGUN obtained a scathing memo written by Morado, who stated that wasn't the case. He stated that he had reminded Romero he needed to get the teacher to change grades and Romero's "failure to comply with the very simple directive caused all of the controversy." The memo also reveals the Deconcini law firm investigated the allegations and found Romero "did change the student's grades." KGUN requested the document through a public records request, but the district declined citing attorney-client privilege. Now the board is voting on whether to release the findings "concerning potential violations of the law: improper grade-changing, improper promotion, and discrimination.  1961
