With temperatures soaring into triple digits before noon, parking in downtown Palm Springs, California, usually comes at a premium.For the past few months, however, parking is actually pretty easy to find.City leaders stopped enforcing parking violations in mid-March and El Patron restaurant manager Miguel Espinola is hoping to cash in.“The extra money (customers) were going to spend on the parking lot, and I think they can spend it on an extra margarita or a cup of coffee,” he said.
