Police say a St. Louis police officer who was shot in the head while responding to a shooting remains in critical condition. St. Louis Police Department spokeswoman Officer Michelle Woodling says a second officer who was shot in the leg was treated and released after the shooting around 6 p.m. Saturday in the South Grand neighborhood. The gunman barricaded himself inside a home and police negotiated with him for nearly 12 hours before the 43-year-old was taken into custody Sunday morning. PARIS (AP) — Kenzo Takada, the iconic French-Japanese fashion designer famed for his jungle-infused designs and free-spirited aesthetic that channeled global travel, has died. He was 81. The family said Takada died from complications from COVID-19. Takada retired from his house in 1999 to pursue a career in art, but it remains a respected fixture in high Paris fashion. Since 1993, the brand Kenzo has been owned by luxury goods company LVMH. He studied fashion in Tokyo before relocating to Paris and taking over a boutique there in 1970. (KGTV) — San Diego Sheriff's deputies are searching for an 81-year-old at-risk man who disappeared Sunday.SDSO said Kenneth Zimmerman was last seen leaving his Descanso-area home to get the newspaper but did not return. Zimmerman suffers from Alzheimer's disease and high blood pressure.He reportedly did not take his blood pressure medication Sunday morning and is not believed to have the medicine with him. He also doesn't own a cell phone.Zimmerman as last seen driving towards Highway 79 from Viejas Boulevard at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday. He was driving a gold 2006 Toyota Tundra single cab with the CA license plate 8E41946. The truck has a black toolbox in the bed.He is described as a white male, 6-feet 2-inches tall, 190 pounds, and has white hair and blue eyes.
