PHOENIX, AZ — An Arizona family is searching for a U.S. Marine who left for Camp Pendleton on Monday but never arrived at the base.Lance Cpl. Job Wallace, 20, was last seen leaving a friend's house in Surprise, Arizona, between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Monday, his mother, Stacy Wallace, said. He loves the Marines, was recently promoted and was excited to get back to Pendleton after a three-day leave that took him home to the suburbs west of Phoenix and a camping trip. Passengers were able to travel on a Delta flight from the US to Europe without quarantining on Tuesday, assuming they passed three coronavirus tests.The flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam, the first between the two locales that does not require quarantine since the onset of the pandemic, required passengers to be negative from a PCR coronavirus test in the previous five days, and receive a negative result from a rapid coronavirus test at the airport the day of the flight. A second PCR test is then administered upon arrival, and passengers are not required to quarantine once receiving a negative result.Delta is also launching a similar program for flights between Atlanta and Rome this week. Passengers bound for Rome are required to take a PCR test within 72 of the flight in addition to being administered a rapid test at the airport. OTAY MOUNTAIN (CNS) - A small brush fire that broke out on Otay Mountain was set as a signal by a man who was hurt after entering the United States illegally, an official said Saturday.Border Patrol agents interviewed a 25-year-old Mexican citizen who said he started the fire after he hurt his ankle and was left behind by a larger group he had crossed the border with, according to U.S. Border Patrol Agent Eduardo Olmos.A Cal Fire battalion chief said the blaze was set as a signal fire.The fire was reported on the mountain, which is east of Otay Mesa and just north of the U.S.-Mexico border, around 11:30 a.m., Cal Fire Capt. Issac Sanchez said.It was stopped at about a third of an acre, Sanchez said.Cal Fire took custody of the man and took him to a hospital, according to Sanchez and Olmos.Border Patrol agents will take custody of the man at the hospital and begin the process of deporting the man to Mexico, Olmos said. 939

Police Chief Mike Koval in Madison, Wisconsin arrested WISC-TV Meteorologist Dave Caufield during a live newscast for "stealing spring," according to the station.Koval and Capt.
