Police have arrested a dog groomer and her boyfriend for stealing a dog from a salon in Mesa, Arizona last month.Mesa police say Izabella Bujanda, an employee at the Animal Clipper grooming salon where Bebe?was dropped off on Feb. 24, confessed to concealing the 2-year-old Biewen Terrier and handing the dog to her boyfriend as he waited outside the business that Saturday morning.Bujanda's boyfriend, Anthony Barrera, was interviewed Thursday and confessed to his part in the crime.According to the suspects, both 20, they decided to get rid of Bebe after the publicity the case started receiving in the media.On Tuesday, Barrera reportedly drove Bebe to a neighborhood near Power and Thomas roads, where he said she was released near the front yard of a home.Police say Bebe has still not been located, and they are asking residents in the Las Sendas area to help bring Bebe home to her owner.Barrera and Bujanda have both been charged with theft.  984

(KGTV) - An illegal immigrant rescued by Border Patrol agents during hot weather in South San Diego County "signaled gratitude" with a thumbs up gesture, CBP San Diego said.The man had crossed the border illegally and called 911 from Otay Mountain Thursday after midnight to get help, officials said. Agents used a helicopter to find the man and remove him from rough terrain, according to the CBP San Diego Twitter feed. Temperatures in the area were in the mid-80s with high humidity at the time.The immigrant was suffering from severe dehydration and was treated at a Border Patrol station, officials said. Police detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a skydiver in Zephyrhills, Florida.Management at Skydive City told Tampa-based WFTS, the skydiver was experienced and had a properly working parachute and reserve parachute. "(The skydiver) hit the ground at full speed and were killed on impact, instantly," said General Manager TK Hayes. Hayes said neither the main parachute or reserve were pulled. It was the second to last jump of the night. The skydiver broke away from a group dive, landing at the edge of the 100-acre property. "It's definitely a mystery," said Hayes. "We've had a preliminary investigation with the detectives out there and looked at the equipment, we can't see anything particularly wrong with it."Hayes said the skydiver was not using an automatic activation device, which deploys the parachute at 700 feet if still in free-fall. That piece of equipment is not required for licensed skydivers. "It's just a sad day for the community, there's nothing we can do about that now that that's happened other than hopefully we learned something from it," he said. Skydive City sees about 70,000 jumps per year. According to Hayes, it has been a couple years since they've experienced a fatal jump. At this time, police have not released the skydiver's name, pending next of kin notification.  1424

(KGTV) -- NASA Friday shared photos of several major California wildfires from space. The photos shared by the agency shows the Camp, Woolsey and Hill fires as seen from a satellite. One photo appears to show the city of Paradise on fire.
