Arlington National Cemetery is a shrine that honors our military.But on this Memorial Day, it’s facing a dilemma. It's running out of room, and is now considering restricting who can be buried there.“Arlington National Cemetery is just so special. Around here we say every day is Memorial Day,” said Karen Durham-Aguilera, the executive director of Army National Military Cemeteries.  “Without a change, every veteran who served in a Gulf War conflict, that's Iraq, Afghanistan and all the other conflicts we've been in since then, will not have the honor of coming here, even if they're medal of honor recipients."The cemetery holds more than 7,000 burials a year, or about 30 a day.With aging veterans and on-going conflicts, the cemetery is running out room and, if nothing changes, they'll run out of space in the next twenty years or so. Unable to expand much more, the cemetery is now looking at putting new restrictions on who can be buried there.On its website, the cemetery is now taking a survey asking the public for input on which veterans should get priority. For example: those killed in action, retired veterans, or those who received high honors, like a Purple Heart or Medal of Valor.“Anybody can take it. It's very narrowly focused, saying what do people want us to do." Said Durham-Aguilera.With your help, Arlington National Cemetery wants to make sure it's ready and able to honor the next generation.  “It's not just for that current generation of gulf war and beyond veterans, but that five-year-old who one day is going to raise his or her hand and say I want to serve this nation. As Congress heads back to Washington D.C., the idea of a second stimulus check being sent out before 2020 comes to an end seems to drift further and further away for Americans going through financial hardships due to the coronavirus pandemic.According to CNN, lawmakers want to send out another round of payments. Still, they can't seem to agree upon a broader economic aid package as they did back in March when Americans received ,200 checks.CBS News reported that Congress could still pass a scaled-down stimulus bill by Dec. 11, which could still include some relief programs.On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on the Senate floor that there aren't many reasons as to why Americans shouldn't receive another relief package, CBS News reported.According to CBS News, one issue lawmakers cannot agree to send hundreds of billions in funding to states and cities that were hit by declining tax revenues amid the pandemic. 951

As Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell awaits trial, newly released documents provide insight into the charges she's facing.A deposition from 2016 has been made public that alleges Maxwell was a recruiter for Epstein's underage sex ring.Testimony from Virginia Giuffre, one of Maxwell's alleged victims, implicates Prince Andrew and former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. Both the prince and Richardson have denied the allegations against them.Giuffre also reports seeing former President Bill Clinton on Epstein's private island. An adorable video of a baby chimpanzee flying to his new home after being saved from poachers in the Congo is going viral.The organization Lwiro Primates, along with Virunga National Park, made it all happen.The chimp, named Mussa, seems to enjoy his aerial ride, helping with the flight controls.The cute primate also shares some tender bonding moments with the pilot and even squeezes in a nap.The video was posted to Facebook on Wednesday and racked up more than a 1,000 shares by Friday. Lwiro Primates strives to protect wildlife populations and battle illegal trade.The nonprofit organization says this was the third successful rescue of 2018.Courtesy of CNN Newsource 702

As businesses continue to gradually reopen, visiting some may come with more risk of coronavirus exposure than others.Dr. Daliah Wachs broke down the COVID-19 exposure risk of various establishments.Medium risk for COVID-19 exposure are places like hair and nail salons, according to Dr. Wachs.“You’re right there up in their face, waxing their eyebrows, you can’t do that 6 feet social distancing,” said Dr. Wachs.According to new COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, people should wait in their car until their hair or nail appointment, and to pay by phone.Medium risk of exposure locations also includes sit-down restaurants, grocery stores and the doctor’s office, according to Dr. Wachs.Dr. Wachs says a doctor’s office can pose a danger due to a higher concentration of sick people being in one place.Inching closer to the highest risk locations are spots like bars, casinos and gyms.“You’re exhaling a lot, so gyms need that extra social distancing, much more than six feet,” said Dr. Daliah.The CDC advises those in gyms to wipe down equipment with disinfecting wipes, and to wear a mask if the workout is low intensity.When it comes to high risk of exposure, Dr. Wachs says parents should be mindful of day care facilities.Another high-risk spot is the Department of Motor Vehicles, according to Dr. Wachs.“You start to come up on the person ahead of you, you almost mentally try to move yourself closer.
