Are you stuck with a Toys 'R' Us gift card, and thinking it is worthless? Kmart announced on Tuesday an exchanged program for those with defunct Toys 'R' Us gift cards. Toys 'R' Us is in the midst of closing all of its stores, and liquidating products. Earlier in May, the retailer stopped accepting gift cards. Kmart said it will allow those with gift cards to Toys 'R' Us to exchange cards for  of FREECASH in points through the in-store exchange. The offer runs through the end of July. In order to take advantage of the offer, Kmart customers will need to join the Shop Your Way program. The offer is good even on expired gift cards. "Kmart has long been a family shopping destination for expecting and current parents," said Leena Munjal, chief digital officer for Sears Holdings Corporation. April the giraffe’s last calf, Azizi, has died. April became a viral hit after two of her calves’ births were live-streamed online. Azizi was born as millions watched in March 2019. He was April’s birth and last calf.Azizi was later sent to the East Texas Zoo and Gator Park to live. The facility announced his death Wednesday in a social media post. 358

Statues in both San Francisco and Sacramento are also in the process of being removed.A separate statue of Christopher Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, will come down from the center of Columbus State Community College's campus. As of late Friday, more than 8,000 petitioners are calling for Columbus, Ohio’s renaming to Flavortown.“Columbus is an amazing city, but one whose name is tarnished by the very name itself,” the petition reads.“Why not rename the city Flavortown? The new name is twofold,” the petition adds. “For one, it honors Central Ohio's proud heritage as a culinary crossroads and one of the nation's largest test markets for the food industry. Secondly, cheflebrity Guy Fieri was born in Columbus.”Flavortown is Fieri's catchphrase, which he often says on episodes of "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." Over the years, historians have accused Columbus of participating in slavery, murder and other atrocities against American natives in the 15th century. Despite this, Columbus was long hailed as a hero to the west, with a national holiday bestowed in his honor.“For many people in our community, the statue represents patriarchy, oppression and divisiveness. (KGTV) -- Disney officially announced Tuesday that the park's latest venture, 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,' will open in the summer of 2019.Disney previously announced that the land would open in 2019, but it was unclear exactly when guests would be able to explore the new area. Disneyland guests will be the first to enjoy the land. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge won't open at Disney World in Florida until late fall of 2019.The park says the Star-Wars themed land is the largest singe-themed land expansion ever undertaken by the company. As part of the announcement, Disney released a new sneak peak of the land.
