ANAHEIM, Calif. (KGTV) - "Toy Story" fans will be "eternally grateful" when they visit Disneyland's Tomorrowland this summer. In honor of Pixar Fest, the park will transform Redd Rocket's Pizza Port into "Toy Story's" Alien Pizza Planet, featured prominently in the Pixar animated movies.Pizza Planet is most memorable for its host of little green aliens who worshipped "the claw" (a claw machine) and expressed gratitude upon their rescue from the pizza place (repeating "we are eternally grateful.")RELATED: Several Downtown Disney businesses to close for 700-room hotelAmong the delicious pizza additions will be a specialty pepperoni-green pepper pizza and cheeseburger pizza. The latter of which includes ketchup, yellow mustard and pizza sauce with cheese, slider patties, a house-made burger sauce, and pickles. The change is just one of the park's ways of celebrating Pixar Fest from April 13 through Sept. 3. The festival will cover both Disneyland and California Adventure parks. The festival will also feature the opening of Pixar Pier, where guests can run around with characters from "Toy Story," "The Incredibles," "WALL-E," and "Inside Out." AMPA, Fla. — Tampa police have charged a mother with first-degree murder after police say she drowned her daughter in the Hillsborough River, killing her.Shakayla Denson, 26, has been arrested and charged with first-degree felony murder and aggravated child abuse in the death of 4-year-old Je'Hyrah Daniels. She also faces a charge of grand theft auto.Denson made a first appearance in court on Friday morning.  A judge set no bond on the charges of murder and child abuse.Tampa Police officers responded around 4:06 p.m. local time Thursday after receiving reports of a woman who drowned a child in the river just north of the Columbus Drive bridge. The dive team also responded to the scene where they pulled Je'Hyrah from the water around 4:30 p.m. She was discovered approximately 75 feet from the shore. Emergency services rushed her to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was pronounced dead.  Police say Denson was located walking nearby when they took her into custody. Investigators say Denson had just stolen a car - a grey Nissan Altima - from a nearby auto repair shop. She parked the car on Rome Avenue just north of Aileen Street. Witness AccountsAccording to an arrest affidavit released Friday morning, two witnesses said Denson "forcefully pushed Je'Hyrah into the back seat of the Nissan Altima." One of the witnesses attempted to stop Denson from leaving but was struck by the Altima as she left. Two other witnesses told police they saw Denson near Aileen St W and Rome Avenue N where she "forcefully removed Je'Hyrah from the back seat of the Altima by the arm." They said as Denson pulled Je'Hyrah she was "screaming loudly and not cooperating." Denson then went into the Hillsborough River while holding both of Je'Hyrah's arm until the water reached her shoulders.Vicki Walker lives on the 3rd floor of the Dockside Condos in Tampa, directly facing where police say Je'Hyrah was drowned. She told said that she never saw the child, but spotted a woman walking out of water not long before police arrived.“Which was very odd, I’ve lived here for years, I’ve never seen anybody in the river," she said.Walker took a photo of the woman in the river.Walker says that the woman was by herself and that she watched her walk out of the river onto the bank, where she says the woman sat for a while.“There’s a part of me that’s like ‘oh my gosh, why didn’t I run over there? Why didn’t I talk to this person? Why didn’t I find out what was going on?’ I had no idea,” Walker added. A GoFundMe that appears to have been created by Denson was posted nine months ago, it shared a photo of her and Je'Hyrah with the caption: 2684

An autopsy has confirmed a man who died after a medical emergency mid-flight last week had COVID-19 and it likely caused his death. The 69-year-old man, identified by the coroner as Isais Hernandez, and his wife were on a United Airlines flight from Orlando to Los Angeles on December 14 when he had a medical emergency. The plane made an emergency landing in New Orleans, and Hernandez later died. The coroner for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, says Hernandez’s cause of death was “acute respiratory failure, COVID-19,” according to the New York Times.A man trained as an EMT was onboard and began CPR and life-saving measures along with other passengers and flight attendants when Hernandez fell ill.Tony Adalpa tweeted later that he had COVID-19 symptoms after helping Hernandez, and overheard his wife tell paramedics Hernandez had COVID-19 symptoms, including the loss of taste and smell.Adalpa had originally planned on getting the COVID-19 vaccine this week. Instead, he’s waiting for a second coronavirus test result. When the plane landed, United believed the man’s emergency was cardiac arrest, and they allowed passengers to “take a later flight or continue on with their travel plans,” the airline told NBC News. The airline says they were later contacted by the CDC and “are sharing requested information with the agency so they can work with local health officials to conduct outreach to any customer the CDC believes may be at risk for possible exposure or infection," a representative for the airline told CBS LA.United says Hernandez had filled out a questionnaire before boarding the flight, which asked about testing positive for COVID-19 and having symptoms. It is now apparent the man "wrongly acknowledged this requirement,” the airline said.A United spokesperson told the New York Times that as of Tuesday, no other passengers or crew members have tested positive for COVID-19 since the December 14 flight. 1931

As America awaits a vaccine for the coronavirus, doctors are encouraging the public to obtain a flu vaccination. While there is hope that social distancing measures in place due to the coronavirus will influence a less severe flu season, public health experts are stressing flu vaccinations in an effort to reduce the burden on medical facilities nationwide. When should you get one?Flu vaccines are generally widely available now, but some public health experts say waiting until October might not be a bad idea.Generally, the flu peaks from December into March. There is a fine balance between getting a vaccine too early and too late, experts say. One concern about getting a vaccine too early is the effects of a vaccine could wear off before the end of flu season.“I usually recommend people get an influenza vaccine in October because we want to make sure that the vaccine lasts for the full duration of the season,” said Dr. Amesh A. Adalja, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. “However, if a person can only get a vaccine in September or maybe after October, it is important just to get it whenever they can.”Likewise, the CDC’s official guidance says that flu vaccines are recommended by the end of October. The agency says that getting a vaccine in July or August “is likely to be associated with reduced protection against flu infection later in the flu season, particularly among older adults.” The CDC agrees, however, that there is benefit in getting a vaccine as late as January for those who fail to obtain one before the start of the season.Where to get a vaccine? While many doctor’s offices offer flu vaccines, perhaps the easiest place for most Americans is while they’re shopping.Major retail chains such as Target, CVS and Kroger offer vaccines. At CVS and Target, customers can book a vaccination appointment by texting “FLU” to 287898. Target and CVS also accepts walk-in appointments. CVS, which also operates pharmacies at Target stores, says that vaccines are generally free with most insurance providers. The cost for those without coverage ranges from .99 to .CVS said it expects to administer 18 million vaccines to Americans this flu season. CVS also said that it is taking proper precautions to administer the vaccine to customers amid the coronavirus pandemic.“We have reduced the number of touchpoints in the process and implemented new guidelines in accordance with the CDC,” a CVS spokesperson said in a statement. “For example, patients will be given a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken prior to any immunization. They must also wear a face covering or mask (one will be provided, if needed). The pharmacist or MinuteClinic provider administering the immunization will also use personal protection equipment (PPE), including plastic face shields and will utilize enhanced cleaning protocols between patients.”Kroger said it is also accepting appointments for flu vaccines. For those not wanting to go into a store, Kroger is offering drive thru vaccines, akin to the drive thru coronavirus testing sites. Also at Kroger, flu vaccines are generally free with most insurance providers."With so many health facilities already overburdened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever for all Americans to get a flu shot," said Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health. "At our COVID-19 drive-thru test sites, we were able to assist thousands of people in getting a test in a short amount of time. By using that model to provide flu shots, we hope to provide more customers with a safe, convenient option to get vaccinated."Who should get a vaccine?Vaccines are recommended for most Americans over the age of 6 months. The CDC said that people with severe, life-threatening allergies to flu vaccine or any ingredient in the vaccine should talk to a doctor before obtaining a vaccine. For those ages 2 through 49 who are not pregnant, a nasal flu vaccine is an option. While a flu vaccine does not prevent all infections, last year’s flu vaccine was estimated to prevent 4.4 million illnesses, 2.3 million medical visits, 58,000 hospitalizations, and 3,500 deaths, according to CDC data. 4210
