NASA has released satellite images showing how dark it is at night for areas impacted by Hurricane Michael. The images show the lighting from Oct. 6 compared to Oct. 12. The images show areas such as Panama City, Fla. and Tallahassee were much darker on Oct. 12 than on Oct. 6. Even towns in parts of Alabama and Georgia have also gone dark. Officials in Florida have said that it would likely take until Oct. 24 before the power is 95 percent restored. Multiple reports of illnesses have prompted a Chipotle location near Columbus, Ohio to close on Monday, both Reuters and the Columbus Dispatch reported. The Columbus Dispatch reported that a dozen customers claimed to have gotten sick after eating at the location over the weekend. The Dispatch reported that the location was last inspected on Thursday by the health department, and had two critical violations - one was for beans that were not held at a high enough temperature, and the other was for cut lettuce that was not properly cooled after preparation. The Dispatch said that these violations were corrected on the same day. “We acted quickly and closed this single restaurant out of an abundance of caution and we are working with the local health officials to reopen this restaurant as soon as possible,” a Chipotle spokeswoman said in a statement to Reuters.The Dispatch reported this location should reopen on Tuesday. In 2015, hundreds of customers were sickened across the country after eating at Chipotle. NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A suspect was taken into custody Monday night after an hours-long standoff in National City following a shooting. According to deputies, the shooting happened on the 2300 block of Prospect Street near Lincoln Acres School. Authorities confirmed that one person was shot but were unable to give further details. Deputies say the suspect barricaded himself inside a home after the shooting. A portion of Prospect Street was closed off for hours due to the incident.  529

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police are looking for the driver of a BMW that crashed into a church fence in National City while attempting to escape a separate hit-and-run crash.According to National City police, it happened around 12:15 a.m. on Palm Avenue, leaving behind a trail of destruction in front of the church.Police say it all started when the BMW driver rear-ended a white Camaro at the intersection of Division Street and Palm Avenue. Moments later, the driver hit the gas trying to speed away from the crash but then hit another car, lost control, and crashed into a church fence.The BMW caught fire, but witnesses helped put it out before firefighters arrived.Witnesses say they saw a man and possibly one passenger running from the scene.No one was hurt.Police did find a shoe left behind at the scene and hope it will help lead to the suspect driver. 878
