PALA (CNS) - A blaze broke out early Tuesday morning in a trailer northeast of Pala, killing a man who lived inside, authorities said. The fire on Magee Road north of state Route 76 was reported around 12:20 a.m., Cal Fire spokesman Issac Sanchez said. Firefighters responded and found a single-wide trailer fully engulfed in flames, Sanchez said. Crews knocked down the flames in just under an hour, then searched the trailer and found a man dead inside, Sanchez said. The age and name of the victim were not immediately available. Investigators from the sheriff's Bomb/Arson unit were sent to the scene, and an investigation was underway into what sparked the blaze. 676

Donovan State Prison houses some of California’s most infamous inmates but is now getting attention for testing innovative rehabilitation methods.One of the projects is an ambitious, 1,000-foot long mural scaling the concrete walls of part of the prison known as Echo Yard.It’s being spearheaded by inmates Erik and Lyle Menendez. The two gained notoriety in the 1990s for their highly publicized murder trial, when they were convicted of killing their wealthy parents in their Beverly Hills home. But in April of 2018, they were reunited at Donovan State Prison in Echo Yard. 10News got a glimpse at their life together behind bars. Police have arrested a dog groomer and her boyfriend for stealing a dog from a salon in Mesa, Arizona last month.Mesa police say Izabella Bujanda, an employee at the Animal Clipper grooming salon where Bebe?was dropped off on Feb. 24, confessed to concealing the 2-year-old Biewen Terrier and handing the dog to her boyfriend as he waited outside the business that Saturday morning.Bujanda's boyfriend, Anthony Barrera, was interviewed Thursday and confessed to his part in the crime.According to the suspects, both 20, they decided to get rid of Bebe after the publicity the case started receiving in the media.On Tuesday, Barrera reportedly drove Bebe to a neighborhood near Power and Thomas roads, where he said she was released near the front yard of a home.Police say Bebe has still not been located, and they are asking residents in the Las Sendas area to help bring Bebe home to her owner.Barrera and Bujanda have both been charged with theft.  984
