An autopsy to determine when and how 20-year-old Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts died is planned for today.Tibbetts vanished while on an evening jog on July 18. Nearly a month later, a man who confessed to pursuing her as she ran on a country road led authorities to the field where a body believed to be hers was buried under corn stalks, officials said Tuesday.While authorities have yet to confirm the body is hers, they arrested Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, on first-degree murder charges.Rivera, who's an undocumented immigrant, told investigators he saw her and got out of his car. He ran beside Tibbetts -- even after she warned him she would call police, officials told reporters Tuesday. 701

An Elkhorn, Nebraska man accused of sending prostitutes to his neighbor's house was sentenced to four years in prison.Doug Goldsberry pleaded no contest to one count of pandering in September. On Friday, a Douglas County judge gave him the maximum penalty.The judge says Goldsberry's "screening process" by seeing how far he could get the women to go was a concern for the court.Investigators were called to a home in March. The homeowners told deputies with the Douglas County Sheriffs Office they were fearful because women identifying themselves as escorts or prostitutes had been exposing themselves and demanding money.The complaint says a family with two small children lived at the house and the women would go on their porch and strip down or lift their shirts off, and one woman urinated in their bushes.Deputies conducted surveillance and brought in two women who were seen exposing themselves at the home. The complaint says investigators were able to determine through phone records Goldsberry, who lives across the street, had sent the women and would tell them to commit the acts so he knew they weren't undercover officers.According to the complaint, Goldsberry told investigators he would watch the girls out of his kitchen window, which faced his neighbor's porch, and sometimes take pictures and would become sexually aroused. He also told investigators he would meet prostitutes at hotels, the complaint says. 1451

As many NFL fans question the patriotism of kneeling NFL players, the spotlight is now turning to the fans themselves. The Green Bay Packers handed out small American Flags during the Packers-Lions Monday Night Game, as part of the NFL's Salute to Service Military Campaign. "During the National Anthem, everybody was waving (their flags) and singing," Marine veteran Tegan Griffith told WTMJ.  "It made me feel very good."However, by halftime, Griffith says she and her fellow veterans noticed many of the flags were discarded."We started noticing people leaving (flags) on the ground, next to food wrappers and beer cups," Griffith explained.  "We found a couple on the bathroom floor.  The veterans I was with started to get a little upset."After the game, the flags were seen everywhere."It looked like red, white, and blue confetti," described Phil Olson, a season ticker holder.  "People were walking all over them.  It struck me as unpatriotic."After the game, both Olson and Griffith told WTMJ they spotted several fans picking up the extra flags."I'm going to tell the Packers they they shouldn't hand out flags because it's the wrong venue," Olson said. "Every game, the Packers will give out a souvenir with the Packers logo on it.  Everybody takes the (souvenir) home.  But after this game, hardly anybody wanted the American flag."The Packers released a statement on the matter:"We distributed more than 77,000 United States flags as part of the Salute to Service theme of the game. An orca whale believed to be grieving her dead calf has carried it with her for five days now.The calf died a half-an-hour after its birth, scientists said. They are monitoring the whale as she has carried the calf on her nose and dives to pick it up when it falls off.Officials said it is a rare occurrence for a whale to keep its dead calf with it. This is the first calf in three years born to endangered orcas.On Saturday evening, the whale and her calf were spotted in Canadian waters. 503
