A Texas man is facing riot charges in Minnesota for allegedly firing a semiautomatic rifle into a Minneapolis police building during demonstrations following the death of George Floyd.A criminal complaint alleges Ivan Harrison Hunter, 26, is a member of the Boogaloo Bois, a group that espouses violent anti-government views, and that he drove to Minneapolis at the end of May with the intent of participating in a riot.U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald announced Hunter faces charges of traveling across state lines to participate in a riot.Floyd, who was Black, died on Memorial Day after a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee on his neck for nearly eight minutes. The incident sparked protests against police racism and brutality across the country.Federal investigators have said he fired 13 rounds from a semiautomatic rifle into the Minneapolis Police Department's Third Precinct building while looters were inside. The building later burned. They say they have video of the incident and Hunter was identified from a screen grab of that video.According to the complaint, Hunter made statements on social media describing what he did in Minneapolis.Police in Austin, Texas, stopped a pickup truck on June 3 in which Hunter was a passenger for multiple traffic violations. Hunter had six loaded magazines for a semiautomatic rifle in a tactical vest he was wearing. Officers also found multiple firearms in the truck.Several days after the stop, federal investigators learned of Hunter’s online affiliation with Boogaloo Bois member Steven Carrillo.Federal prosecutors have charged Carrillo in the death of a federal protective officer in Oakland, California, during a protest over Floyd’s death on the same night Hunter allegedly opened fire in Minneapolis.MacDonald said Hunter made his initial court appearance Thursday in San Antonio, Texas. A New Jersey man who won a 8 million Powerball jackpot in 2013 has been charged with sexually assaulting a child.According to NJ.com, Pedro Quezada of Wayne, was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.Prosecutors say Quezada assaulted the victim for three years when the child was between the ages of 11 and 14 when he lived in nearby Passaic.Quezada won a 8 million jackpot in March 2013 when he purchased the winning ticket at a Passaic liquor store. He took his winnings in a lump sum, meaning he took home 1 million after taxes.At the time of his win, Quezada told CNN the money would not “change his heart.”At the time of his Powerball victory, CNN reported that Quezada was married with five children. However, it was later revealed that Quezada was not actually married — though the woman who he claimed was his wife sued him, saying the lottery ticket was purchased with the couple’s shared assets. Multiple media outlets are reporting the film's star, Robert Pattinson, is the person who tested positive.A spokesperson for Warner Bros. said Thursday that the individual is isolating in accordance with established protocols and filming is temporarily paused. They would not release any other information about the situation or affected crew member.Vanity Fair and Deadline are both reporting Pattinson tested positive for coronavirus, however no other information about his situation was available.Pattinson is starring in the new film from director Matt Reeves which had resumed filming just a few days ago after an almost six-month hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic.The film was originally supposed to hit theaters in June 2021 but was pushed back to October 2021 because of the production delays.Before filming was stopped earlier this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, enough was shot to put together a trailer for "The Batman." 1081

A pair of children, ages 1 and 3, were shot inside of a car Thursday evening outside the University Of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, the Jackson Police Chief told the Clarion-Ledger reported. The shooting briefly prompted fears of an active shooter on the university's campus, causing a heavy police response. The Clarion-Ledger reported that one child was shot in the leg, and the other in the torso. Their conditions have not been publicly released. Following the shooting, a female driver transported the children to the hospital. The suspect was still on the loose as of Thursday evening.  655

A United State Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier II jet crashed in Djibouti, in East Africa, on Tuesday, according to two defense officials.The pilot was able to eject and is currently being medically evaluated the officials added. The extent of the pilot's injuries are currently unknown.The United States has a large military presence in Djibouti based at Camp Lemonnier.  380
