The Belt and Road Initiative was proposed by China in 2013 as a trade and infrastructure network. It will connect Asia to Europe and Africa through the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
He suggested the two nations build their relationship by strengthening strategic dialogue, deepening mutual understanding and boosting bilateral cooperation, and offset the negative factors in bilateral ties.
Fan said the bilateral relations between China and Pakistan has entered a new era after the two countries' ties were lifted to all-weather strategic partnership of cooperation during Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Pakistan in April. He said China highly values the efforts of Pakistan in the international war on terrorism and the sound achievements it has made.
China takes over G20 presidency early next month and will host another summit in its eastern city of Hangzhou in 2016.
Countries across the globe are looking forward to strengthening cooperation with China, so as to share more dividends from the Asian giant's reform and development.
