UPDATE (Dec. 14, 4 a.m.): Chula Vista police say the teen has been reunited with his family. No other details were released. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) — Police are asking the public for help finding a 13-year-old who ran away from home on Sunday.Chula Vista Police say Angel, 13, ran away from his home at about 11 a.m. Based on his age and statements made to his family, police believe Angel to be at risk.Angel is described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet 8-inches tall, and weighing about 115 pounds. He has black hair with bleached ends and brown eyes. He usually wears a pink or black hooded sweatshirt, black Vans shoes with skull images on them, and typically has a skateboard with him.He has no known physical ailments, police added.Police said Angel has friends in the Imperial Beach area and family in Tijuana, Mexico, though there were no indications that he had plans to go to either location.Anyone with information on Angel's whereabouts is asked to call Chula Vista Police at 619-691-5151. 1009

Update: On September 10, the Audubon Zoo shared the devastating news that the infant gorilla had passed away. A critically endangered western lowland gorilla has given birth to her first baby at a zoo in New Orleans on September 4.The Audubon Zoo says 13-year-old Tumani and her baby are doing well. Two gun shops in Southwest Florida are offering free gun training for teachers in response to the Parkland shooting.A free class at North Fort Myers Guns is designed to educate teachers about guns so they can protect themselves and others.A new state law allows schools districts the option to arm teachers under certain conditions.  They would be required to go through 144 hours of training and an evaluation process with law enforcement.Robert Lewis, the owner of North Fort Myers Guns, said the training he is offering will give teachers a jump start on how to use a gun.Lewis said it's a two-hour class where teachers can learn the basics and then they will go to a local gun range a few days later to practice firing a gun."My trainer takes you out to his private range in North Fort Myers. You will shoot any number of weapons you want. He makes it a true learning experience," Lewis said.The training is normally , but Lewis said he's offering it for free for teachers because he believes arming teachers will help protect kids in school.Two teachers have already signed up for Tuesday's training class. Lewis said depending on how many teachers sign up, he will hold a class at least once a month.Fowler Firearms in Ft. Myers, Florida is offering a similar service.After receiving a local donation, the manager John Dezendorf is offering the first five local certified teachers who sign up a brand new firearm and free platinum memberships.The membership includes free range time and gun rentals for a year.Dezendorf said whether the teachers are required to train through the state or county, his training services will give them the extra practice they need."The number one thing is to keep children safe and the only things to keep kids safe is to have people around them that are able to protect them. TULSA - Two women fought to stay alive as an armed robber broke into a midtown liquor store, the horrifying moments all caught on tape. Just one day after cheating death, when a man tried to a shatter a family for money, Justin Christian and his family are back to work. "You're not going to scare me off from my store this is what feeds my family this is what pays my bills," Owner of Forest Acres Liquor Justin Christian said. And customers were there not just to make purchases, but lay their eyes and hearts on the women who wouldn't give up without a fight. "I basically see a guy walk in the door from this angle and have a sawed off 12 gauge."Justin was out of town when his mother and sister took 36-year-old Tyrone Lee to task; now watching the video with us. "My mom says open the drawer, give him the money, give him the money."They gave him what he wanted then grabbed their guns, trying to lock him in the small room leading into the store.But one door didn't lock. "She's says stop, stop but he's still got the gun."He turns around, and that's when the fight to stay alive truly began. "He reached over, she ducked and fired again, and of course the gun's empty or else my mom and sister would be dead," Justin cried. He said Lee wanted to kill them. "What they're showing on TV ain't the real deal when you really watch it and know it and clean up the blood, and really understand what happened." He's just grateful it wasn't his family's blood he had to wipe from the floor. "The clerks did an outstanding job of fighting him," said Tulsa Police Sgt.
