SPRING VALLEY, Callif. (KGTV) — New video shows a man using a massive brick to break into a Spring Valley dessert shop and steal the cash register. A little after midnight on Feb. 28, the video shows a man breaking into Snoice dessert shop in Spring Valley, walking to the bakery in the back and stealing the register, which had 0 inside. Jayrell Ringpis, the store owner, said he felt violated when he saw the video. "It's just disheartening because we're not alone," he said.The thief hit at least two other businesses in the same strip mall as Snoice, which is on Paradise Valley Road. On Friday, a door was missing from a Mexican restaurant halfway down, and a donut shop had a glass door boarded up. The worker at the donut shop says this is not the first time someone has broken in through the glass.Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call around 4 a.m. Thursday but did not find the suspect. The brick left behind did have some blood on it, but the Sheriff's department didn't immediately respond to further questions. Special counsel Robert Mueller's team has so far discussed with President Donald Trump's lawyers four main topics they want to talk about with the President.According to two sources, the areas that the special counsel investigators have indicated they want to pursue with Trump are the President's role in crafting a statement abroad Air Force One that miscast Donald Trump Jr.'s campaign June 2016 meeting with Russians in Trump Tower, the circumstances surrounding that Trump Tower meeting as well as the firings of FBI Director James Comey and national security adviser Michael Flynn.One of the sources said the bulk of the topics conveyed surround the President's actions with the Comey and Flynn firings.The topics are not the extent of Mueller's interest, but, based on discussions between the two sides, they represent significant areas of focus so far for a Trump interview.CNN previously reported that after presenting some topics weeks ago, Mueller's team got more granular in a face-to-face meeting. The two sides are still discussing a potential interview and other topics include Attorney General Jeff Sessions' involvement in Comey's firing as well as the President's knowledge of Flynn's phone calls with the Russian ambassador.A source familiar with the matter says the President's legal team has created dozens of potential questions Mueller's team could ask in an interview based off the topics that have been conveyed verbally. Both sides could come to terms on whether there will be a sit-down interview in the coming weeks, according to a source familiar with the matter.The focus on Trump himself in Mueller's pursuits has alarmed and angered the President, who adhered to a legal strategy of holding back set by his attorney John Dowd and White House special counsel Ty Cobb, who have said for months the investigation was likely to conclude soon. On Twitter Wednesday, the President pointed to Alan Dershowitz, the Harvard Law professor, who questioned the appointment of a special counsel.The President called the investigation a "witch hunt" earlier in the week.As the investigation seems to be intensifying, the President, according to multiple sources, is convinced he needs to take the reins of his own legal strategy. His recent pushes include the hiring of attorney Joe diGenova and overtures made to other lawyers like former Solicitor General Ted Olson, who declined to take a job this week.A source familiar with the matter said the legal team could add more lawyers as they enter "the next phase" of deciding what to do about a potential interview between Mueller's team and the President.Trump also continues to speak regularly with Marc Kasowitz, his longtime lawyer who stepped back from leading the team months ago but remains involved.Kasowitz has long recommended that Trump take a more aggressive posture toward the Mueller investigation. Starbucks bathrooms will be open to anyone who wants to use them, whether they're a paying customer or not, Chairman Howard Schultz said Thursday.Schultz made the announcement following the uproar over the way two black men were treated at a Starbucks in Philadelphia last month.The men asked to use the bathroom, but an employee told them it was only for paying customers. When they then sat in the store without ordering anything, the manager called police, and the men were arrested for trespassing. No charges were filed.Starbucks has since apologized to the men and announced plans for extra racial bias training for its employees."We don't want to become a public bathroom, but we're going to make the right decision 100% of the time and give people the key, because we don't want anyone at Starbucks to feel as if we are not giving access to you to the bathroom because you are less than. Small business owners are concerned that a federal loan program, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan, is providing too little money – too late. The delay, and the diminished funding, are leaving some business owners with questions, concerns and a fear that they’ll have to shut their doors.One of those businesses is GoPegasus, a transportation company based in Orlando, Florida. It’s been months since any of its dozens of buses have even moved, even though business should be booming right now.“There are days that it's really tough to wake up in the morning, I'm gonna tell you I... But you have to do it like us, 26 years. It's a life,” said Claudia Menezes, the vice president of GoPegasus said.And even though their business has stopped - Menezes said they’ve seen more than million in cancellations so far - their bills haven’t. Things like employees, bus maintenance and insurance all still have to be paid. Which is why Menezes said GoPegasus applied for an EIDL loan in the first place. In the 26 years GoPegasus has been in business, Menezes said they have received two such loans before, one immediately following September 11, 2001, and another after Hurricane Irma.The EIDL is a low-interest loan, separate from the Paycheck Protection Program, that the federal Small Business Administration awards after a disaster. EIDL funds can be paid back to the government over decades.The coronavirus pandemic means any business owner with 500 employees or fewer can apply for one of these loans.Menezes said that when they applied for a loan in March, the maximum cap was million, and the company was approved for a 0,000 loan, but before they got the money, the loan program was capped.In May, the SBA capped all EIDL loans at 0,000. An SBA representative said that decision was made “in order to help as many small businesses and nonprofit organizations as possible. We're really running out of resources,” said Menezes.Kelly West and her family have a similar story. This is the first time her family’s company, Skydive Greene County, applied for a federal EIDL loan and she described the experience as “horrific.”“I might sound a little dramatic, but it's been an emotional roller coaster,” said West.She’s the operations manager for the company and said she originally filed a loan application in March. She said she needed to fix an error on that original application, but after she did, the nearly 60-year-old family business’ loan was only partially funded. She said she’s appealed, written to federal representatives and even got a senator involved but now she’s waiting – with no idea if or when she’ll learn moreTalking about small business owners and the importance of funding EIDL loans, West said that, “these are people, not just their income, but these are our dreams, our hopes, our dreams, our life’s work.”Menezes and West are not alone. In a July 1 meeting of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Small Business Committee, representatives from both sides of the aisle shared similar small business stories from each of their districts with James Rivera, an Associate Administrator for the Office of Disaster Assistance in the U.S. Small Business Administration. Most of the stories told by the representatives had similar themes – not enough money and not enough information.In reference to the 0,000 cap, Rep. Pete Stauber, (R-MN) told Rivera that “it seems that the SBA has taken some liberties to reduce the cap of loans given out from million to 0,000. While some representatives questioned how long that time frame was, Rivera said loans that are applied for now – after a new application portal was rolled out in June – have an even shorter turnaround time.A representative of the SBA said in an email that, “following the passage of the CARES Act, SBA created and implemented an entirely new online EIDL application portal and distribution system…This system has now handled more than eight million applications, allowing the SBA to distribute funds to those small businesses in less than two days.”Rivera also said in Congress that there’s a huge demand for funds – bigger than ever before, and that the SBA has awarded 6.8 million business about 7 billion, and still has about 0 billion left to award.Both Menezes and West said that if they knew back in March what they would have to go through – and are still going through -- they likely would have tried to get loan help elsewhere.“It's a one thing to have a yes or no answer and to know right away. So we could have made alternative plans to get different financing if we needed it,” said West. “But then when you're promised something and then it doesn't come through, and then you're promised by somebody else and it doesn't come with them, now what is three or four different times. You feel like you’re just beat up.”Menezes echoed that sentiment, and also said after 26 years in business, she doesn’t know if her company will make it through this one.“It is like it makes the situation even worse because you don't know what you do, what you can do, what to do. After his kids moved out he and his wife decided to remodel the bathroom. Gregg suggested the idea and his wife was all for it."Convinced my wife that that was a good idea and fortunately she agreed with me," Thompson said.Inside he has two Masters flags. One was signed by Bubba Watson, the 2012 winner, and the other was signed by Ben Crenshaw who won the 1984 and 1995 Masters tournament. He has old school clubs, a Masters hat, a Masters shower curtain, multiple Masters books, a Masters 'Quiet Please' sign, and of course he has a mini putting green inside there. He uses his dad's old putter and said that if he can sink it in the bathroom with that ancient club, he will have a good day on the course."I feel like I'm almost there.
