DUSHANBE, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Saturday called on China and Tajikistan to tap cooperation potential and explore new forms of cooperation so as to better achieve win-win cooperation.
The hard-won momentum of the world economic recovery still calls for adherence to open development, the premier said, urging the two continents to resolutely safeguard the multilateral trading system and consolidate the foundation for economic globalization and free trade.
Li reiterated the policies of "one country, two systems," "the people of Hong Kong governing Hong Kong," "the people of Macao governing Macao," and a high degree of autonomy for both regions, and the need to deepen exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao regions for common prosperity and development.
The two sides are expected to sign a series of cooperation documents on aviation, energy and finance, among others, according to a press briefing by Chinese Foreign Ministry ahead of the visit.
