(KGTV) — For Chula Vista native Cesar Moreno, instinct — and training — kicked in when a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Anchorage, Alaska, Friday."I went straight under my desk and I was just praying," Moreno recalled. "I was afraid I was going to die."Moreno said training for earthquakes while living in San Diego as a child helped prepare him for what to do. (KGTV) — A 0,000 truck belonging to DJ Marshmellow was stolen Wednesday before the suspect led authorities on a pursuit from Malibu to the San Fernando Valley and crashed.California Highway Patrol said the suspect was seen driving on the wrong side of Malibu Canyon Rd. around 9:40 p.m. and led CHP officers on a chase along eastbound 101 Freeway. Eventually, the suspect exited the freeway in Sherman Oaks, before traveling into Van Nuys.The suspect drove through the parking lot of a Taco Bell restaurant, before crashing the truck into a light pole near the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Ave. and Vanowen St. at about 10:10 p.m. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Edward Cruz, surrendered peacefully to CHP after crashing. He was booked on suspicion of grand theft auto and felony evading police, according to the Los Angeles Times. (CNN) -- Two Disney employees were arrested in a child pornography sting orchestrated by the Polk County Sheriff's Office in Florida.They were among 17 men nabbed in an undercover sting operation, according to a press release from the agency.Brett Kinney, 40, of Lake Alfred, Florida, told investigators he was a guest experience manager at Disney World, according to the release. Kinney was arrested and charged with one count of promotion of child pornography and 24 counts of possession of child pornography-enhanced, the release said.A Disney spokesperson told CNN by phone that Kinney was no longer employed with the company following his arrest in the sting.In the release, the sheriff's office alleges that Kinney would search online for images of boys from toddlers to 10 years old. He was caught during a peer- to -peer investigation of alleged child pornography.When confronted by investigators, Kinney told them that he had an addiction to child pornography and had been viewing it for 22 years, according to the release.A second Disney employee, Donald Durr Jr., was also arrested by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Durr, 52, of Davenport, Florida, told investigators he was a custodial worker at Walt Disney Resorts. He was arrested and charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of sexual performance by a child.Durr is on unpaid leave, a Disney spokesperson told CNN.Investigators discovered an electronic tablet with three images of child pornography and a DVD created by Durr nine years ago showing explicit images of a child, the sheriff's press release said.Durr described himself during an interview with detectives as "a pervert, but not a monster," according to the release.CNN has reached out to both men for responses to the charges they face but has not yet heard back. (KGTV) — A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck the Mojave Desert area Wednesday.The quake was recorded at 1:40 p.m. in Trona, Calif., according to the US Geological Survey, and could be felt as far east as Las Vegas and as far west as Los Angeles. The earthquake had a depth of less than half a mile just north of Barstow.A 3.7-magnitude aftershock was recorded in the same area within the next hour.Sal Romo at Esparza family restaurant in Trona told 10News they definitely felt shaking but there wasn't any damage.
